Home Education Curation Collection 7th August 2022

avatar

It's been a week full of everything, with many different topics as cooking and baking, arts and crafts, math and letters or paper making! It's my pleasure to share some highlights down below but first, a quick reminder about the Home School Vacation Challenge that's on going.
Don't forget to submit your entries, there's only one week left! We would like to know how you keep your kids entertained in summer days, when all screens are off!

Our usual thank you everyone who makes this community what it is. This week 5% beneficiaries for interaction and contribution to the HomeEdders community go to:

@nubra11
@afterglow

If you want to read a good real story about how giving responsabilities to children will only help them become more confident and independent, I recommend you to read this one, We learn by doing, from @trucklife-family. Her experiences growing three girls are always inspiring!

It is recommended to work on emotional intelligence from an early age and I think @leomarylm knows it very well! She used one DIY set of facial expressions in order that her little girls learn and recognize the emotions. It's easy to set up, you only need some paper and crayons!

If you're looking into arousing children's interest in reading, this idea coming from @graciadegenios might be what you need. She talks about Story Therapy as a strategy to activate emotions in kids by reading, creating and story telling. Stories have that "magic key that opens" child's imagination, so be sure to read her post.

If you need an idea on how to teach small children fractions, this is a bright and fun DIY method. I simply love the colors, besides this being practical and easy to follow! It's not the first time when @virgilio07 shares with us good Math Activities Ideas.

@emmaris created from scrach a version of this traditional game Dominoes into DIY Math Domino to help children with Multiplication Table learning and memorization. If you're in this phase with your children learning Times Table, you should try this out!

Thank you for joining us. This curation was brought to you by @missdeli and this week I have added @minismallholding as 10% beneficiary for the ongoing delegation support. Thank you!

One question can I use the community logo at the end of the publication, as it is very nice and identifies the community.

Una pregunta, puedo utilizar el logo de la comunidad en la parte final de la publicación, ya que es muy lindo e identifica a la comunidad.
