Home Education Curation Collection. 6th June 2021

I wasn't sure if I'd be getting this out to you today, as we lost internet. Thankfully we were only out for half a day and I'm pleased to bring you some highlights of this week's posts. I hope you enjoy.

First our usual thank you everyone who makes this community what it is. This week Hive for interaction on posts in the HomeEdders community goes to:

• 10% beneficiary - @cmplxty
• 4 Hive - @majo77
• 3 Hive - @emimoron
• 2 Hive - @emiliomoron
• 1 Hive - @afterglow

While she believes she's not good at crafts, @fmbs25 still demonstrates her creation of a clever number display to help with learning numbers.

Do you include field trips in your home education? @thisismylife shares some recent ones they did and asks, what kind of field trips have you undertaken as part of your education journey?

This week we've had a couple of posts which question what education is and if the current system is the best set up for our children. @emimoron discusses education for freedom and reflects upon the school system and homeschooling methods.

Encourage creativity making this crayon holder from @calaca. I like that the different steps offer a variety of input chances depending on the child's skill levels and interests.

Do you remember playing hopscotch as a child? I do, but I barely remember how it's played. @emiliomoron did some brushing up on it for his son and has learnt it offers a surprising amount of physical and mental training.

Thank you for joining us. This curation was brought to you by @minismallholding and this week I have chosen @cmplxty to be a 10% beneficiary of this post, and have added in another beneficiary for @missdeli for the ongoing delegation support. Thank you!

It's lovely to see the amount of comments and support some of our community members are giving on posts, even if they don't always get responses.

Hello, thank you very much for your support and for encouraging interaction. I believe that this is one of the most important objectives of the communities, to be able to comment and discuss the topics that we consider relevant. Here we really feel at home learning. Congratulations for the excellent curatorship as always the outstanding posts.

Thank you very much to our administrator, curator and administrators I really appreciate the contributions that this community makes towards improving the methods and learning strategies of our children, I congratulate all those who are connected with this initiative and with the fact that the community grows every day in knowledge and significant experiences, each member strives to show what from homeschooling has served them and how we can all use these strategies, also the reflections of life that are so important sometimes when we read the experiences of others we feel that we are not alone in any situation or event that has happened to us. Thank you all and keep reflecting and valuing homeschooling.

That's awesome, thank you for the beneficiary! I've been slacking on my community engagement in here! Hopefully I can get back into a better space where I'm spending some time here routinely again.

Some really great posts this week, I love seeing the different faces that are in the community! Some great different perspectives and new ways to think about things.

It was to see you back in the community. No need to feel guilty about not being there all the time , though. 😉
