On the occasion of the last Book Day, Mathias and I made a Book of Numbers. [EN] // A Propósito del Pasado Dia del Libro, Mathias y Yo Hicimos un Libro de Números. [ES]
My eternal fight with Mathias is for the numbers, when he is alone without pressure from anyone I hear him count the numbers without any problem, but it is enough that I ask him to count or to tell me that number is this or that one for him to start saying numbers without coherence, In fact his teachers tell me that when he has had the opportunity to be with them he counts the numbers without any problem, which makes me think that this little devil is pulling my leg, something that really upsets me a little, so thinking about that possibility and taking into account that I have to improve that aspect with him, I decided that we would make a book of numbers.
Last April 22 was the day of the book so taking into account this date we did this activity, trying to involve him in each of the activities, the truth is that at first it was a disaster because he wanted to punch the sheets and foami sheets alone, he would not let help or guide, the truth is that My Mathias has a character quite difficult to master, however after explaining to him why he could not do things alone, he understood and we managed to continue our work. I must confess that in this type of activities I usually limit him when it is time to do some of the steps to finish it, and it is something that I must learn to control because if the craft is not quite right in sight is part of the process.
This small book also has other functions and is to encourage a little more painting, writing with the sizing and fine motor skills, because with the circles resulting from the perforations that we made to the Eva rubber, we will be placing the eyes to the numbers that draw them in the style of cartoons, in order to make the experience a little more fun.
Another idea that occurred to me while I was drawing the numbers was to ask him to make the number of drawings corresponding to the number we were working with, in this way he associates the number with the quantity it represents.
To make this book of numbers I used a part of recycled materials, as were the sheets where I drew the numbers, besides leaving a good amount of blank sheets to continue adding numbers in the future, so it is an activity that does not require a major expense, for the book cover I used two sheets of fomi I had at home and decorate it with colored markers as my ability to make crafts is practically nil, and with the help of a paper puncher I made holes through which I then joined each of the parts with the help of a string.
The truth is that I feel I was successful with this book so I will make one just like it for letters, with this I intend to alternate the activities so that they do not become monotonous and boring activities, I just have to structure what skills to encourage in this book of letters.

Mi eterna pelea con Mathias es por los números, cuando esta solo sin presión de nadie lo escucho contar los números sin ningún problema, pero basta que le pida que contemos o que me diga que numero es este o aquel para que comience a decir números sin coherencia, de hecho sus maestras me comentan que cuando ha tenido la oportunidad de estar con ellas cuenta sin ningún problema los números, lo que me hace pensar que este pequeño diablillo me toma el pelo, algo que realmente me altera un poco, así que pensando en esa posibilidad y teniendo en cuenta que debo mejorar ese aspecto con él, decidí que haríamos un libro de números.
El pasado 22 de abril fue el día del libro así que teniendo en cuenta esta fecha hicimos esta actividad, tratando de involucrarlo en cada una de las actividades, la verdad es que en principio fue un desastre pues el quería perforar las hojas y las láminas de foami e solo, no se dejaba ayudar ni guiar, la verdad es que Mi Mathias tiene un carácter bastante difícil de dominar, sin embargo luego de explicarle porque no podía hacer las cosas solo, entendió y logramos continuar nuestro trabajo. Debo confesar que en este tipo de actividades suelo limitarlo a la hora de hacer alguno de los pasos para terminarlo, y es algo que debo aprender a controlar pues si la manualidad no queda del todo bien a la vista es parte del proceso.
Este pequeño libro además tiene otras funciones y es fomentar un poco más la pintura la escritura con el apresto y la motricidad fina, pues con los círculos resultantes de las perforaciones que le hicimos a la goma Eva, le vamos a ir colocando los ojos a los números que los dibuje al estilo de caricaturas, con la finalidad de hacerle la experiencia un poco más divertida.
Otra de las ideas que se me ocurrió mientras hacia los dibujos de los números fue pedirle a él que hiciera la cantidad de dibujos correspondientes al número con el que estuviéramos trabajando, de esta forma va asociando el numero con la cantidad que representa.
Para hacer este libro de números utilice una parte de materiales reciclados, como lo fueron las hojas en donde dibuje los números, además de dejarle una buena cantidad de hojas en blanco para a futuro continuar agregando números, por lo que es una actividad que no requiere de un gasto mayor, para la tapa del libro utilice dos láminas de fomi que tenía en casa y la decore con marcadores de colores pues mi capacidad para hacer manualidades es prácticamente nula, y con ayuda de un perforador de papel hice orificios por los que luego uní cada una de las partes con ayuda de un cordel.
La verdad es que siento que tuve éxito con este libro por lo que hare uno igual para las letras, con esto pretendo alternar las actividades de manera que no se conviertan en actividades monótonas y aburridas, solo debo estructurar que habilidades incentivar en este libro de letras.
