These are definitely important things to know and a great benefit of home schooling! I think maybe this generation might come out with some of the best life skills like that. Could be a thing to look to the positive side !

Ah homemade salami! That sounds fantastic. Some of the best stuff I’ve ever had was from a small butcher in Italy. All the meats were hanging there curing and getting them freshly sliced was unreal!

Definitely great memories standing around a table cutting up meat and mincing it then hanging it. My mouth waters for the 6 weeks of curing. I can't wait to do it again this year.
