Peculiar pets, the red-footed tortoises (ENG-ESP)

I have already spoken on several occasions of some popular kittens that belong to Hive and the stormy story of how I met them, but it is time to introduce you to the real pets of the house and they have been with us for so many years from generation to generation that are part of the home.

Ya he hablado en varias ocasiones de unos gatitos populares que pertenecen a Hive y de la tormentosa historia de cómo los conocí, pero ya es hora de presentarles a las verdaderas mascotas de la casa y es que llevan tantos años con nosotros de generación en generación que forman parte del hogar.

They are fantastic red-footed tortoises or as they are known in Venezuela, Morrocoy tortoises, they are small reptiles who have their resting area in the backyard, but they roam the yard from corner to corner, they are extremely quiet and it seems that their lifestyle is very patient.

Ellos son unas fantásticos tortugas patas rojas o como son conocidas en Venezuela, tortugas Morrocoy, son unos pequeños reptiles quienes en el patio tienen su zona de descanso, pero recorren el patio de esquina a esquina, son sumamente tranquilos y parece que su estilo de vida es muy paciente.

They like to eat fruits, vegetables, cooked rice, leaves and cayenne flowers. My grandmother considers them a protection for the house, she says they chase away bad energies and protect the family from bad things, and well year after year they are still in the house, and even the oldest one has laid her eggs from which more morrocoyes have hatched. They were given as a gift so that someone would give them love.

Les gusta comer frutas, vegetales, arroz cocido, hojas y flores de cayena. Mi abuela los considera una protección para la casa, dice que ahuyentan las malas energías y protegen a la familia de las cosas malas, y bueno año tras año siguen en la casa, e incluso la más antigua ha puesto sus huevos de donde han nacido más morrocoyes. Los cuales fueron regalados para que alguien les diera amor.

At the moment we have three in the house, one is the first one that arrived and we call her "Roca", since one of the children of the family called her this way trying to pronounce the word "morrocoya", we still have "Glotón" and "Mijo", who almost never pays attention, not even when I give him food, while Glotón eats too much and is the biggest of the offspring.

En los momentos tenemos tres en la casa, una es la primera que llego a la cual le decimos “Roca”, ya que uno de los niños de la familia le decía así tratando de pronunciar la palabra “morrocoya”, nos queda “Glotón” y “Mijo”, quien casi nunca hace caso, ni cuando le doy comida, mientras que Glotón come demasiado y es el más grande de las crías.

For me it is an honor to share with you my love for nature, and to write to you about my peculiar pets, you never know when they want sun or shade, but you appreciate the fact that they are members of the house, so I share with you a little of their protection and good energy.

Para mí es un honor compartirles el amo a la naturaleza, y escribirle de mis mascotas peculiares, de ellos nunca se sabe cuándo quieren sol o sombra, pero si se aprecia el hecho de que sean unos miembros más de la casa, así que les comparto un poco de su protección y buena energía.

@rafaelgreen yo tengo dos preciosas tortugas patas rojas en casa. Son las mascotas de mis niños. Se llaman Mickey y Tortuguis 😂 😃.
