My mom had already told me that a friend and her family had been raising pigs for a long time. She even sent me pictures of them when they were tiny. I was so eager to meet them and carry them, if their weight would allow me to do so. Yes, my love for animals goes as far as wanting to carry a piglet 🤭

This is Maria Corina. She weighs around 80 kilos or more. She is huge, intelligent and cute. Her eyes seem to me to be most expressive. Almost as if they belonged to a human. Or is it just me... What do you think?

It was not easy for me to take these pictures because she moves a lot. When I approached her she was all curious looking for my hands. But I liked that in the first one she seems to be smiling, don't you think? 🙈

She is very funny, she is always lying down and quiet, until her owner arrives. As soon as she hears him, she goes crazy calling for him. He takes the opportunity to bathe her and feed her.

Her owner bathes her about six times a day or more. I have never seen or heard anything like this before. Although it must be exhausting, it is fantastic and super hygienic, because neither her cage nor the surroundings smell dirty at all.

He is fed twice a day. But I must tell you that they are huge pots of food every time it is his turn. They are very careful not to give it to her raw but cooked, which helps, according to what they tell me, to a better health for her.

Maria Corina had four pups a few months ago, which I wanted very much to meet and hold, but I didn't get there in time. They had already been handed over to their future owners.

I really admire the work this family has done to care for these little animals. They bathe them, clean their cage, feed them and treat them well. It is something I have rarely seen in my life, but as a crazy animal lover, I respect and value a human being.

I was recently told that they are thinking of going into pig breeding. So I am hopeful that I will be able to go back and hold one of Maria Corina's children 💜

Ya mi mamá me había hablado de que una amiga y su familia estaban criando cochinos desde hace tiempo. Incluso me envió fotos de cuando estaban pequeñitos. Yo tenía demasiadas ganas de conocerlos y cargarlos, si su peso me lo permitía. Sí, mi amor a los animalitos llega hasta querer cargar a un cochinito 🤭

Ella es María Corina. Pesa alrededor de 80 kilos o más. Es enorme, inteligente y linda. Sus ojos me parecen de lo más expresivos. Casi como que fueran de un humano. O serán cosas mías... ¿Ustedes qué piensan?

No se me hizo fácil tomarle estas foticos porque se mueve mucho. Cuando me acercaba estaba toda curiosa buscando mis manos. Pero me gustó que en la primera parece estar sonriendo. ¿No creen? 🙈

Ella es muy graciosa, siempre está acostadita y tranquila, hasta que llega su dueño. En cuanto lo oye se vuelve como loca llamándolo. Él aprovecha de bañarla y darle comida.

Su dueño la baña como seis veces al día o más. Jamás había visto u oído algo así. A pesar de que debe ser agotador, es fantástico y súper higiénico, pues ni su jaula ni los alrededores huelen para nada a sucio.

Le dan comida dos veces al día. Pero debo decirles que son unas ollas enormes de comida cada que vez que le toca. Ellos cuidan muy bien de no dársela cruda sino cocida, lo que ayuda, según me dicen ellos, a una mejor salud para ella.

Maria Corina tuvo cuatro crías hace unos pocos meses, las cuales deseaba mucho conocer y cargar, pero no llegué a tiempo. Ya se los habían entregado a sus futuros dueños.

Admiro mucho el trabajo que ha hecho esta familia para cuidar a estos animalitos. Los bañan, asean su jaula, los alimentan y tratan bien. Es algo que muy pocas veces he visto en mi vida, pero como locamente amante de los animales, respeto y valoro de un ser humano.

Hace poco me dijeron que están pensando seguir en la cría de cochinos. Así que tengo esperanza de volver y poder cargar a un hijo de María Corina. 💜
