Landing in the HivePets community with my friend "Chipi"

Hello to all those animal-loving Hiveros... It's a pleasure to be here!

Today I come here to introduce you to a very special friend of mine and my parents, his name is "Chipi", a parrot very dear to everyone here in my house. I personally would have thought of a name, I don't know, a better name hehehe but my mom decided to call him that way and that's how he stayed, no way with that xD.

I will tell you a little about the

He arrived here when he was just a pigeon, he arrived here by pure chance, as it was an unforeseen gift that came into the hands of my mom, actually the person who gave him did not want him, for some reason my mom was in the right place at the right time when this person approached him.

From the first moment I saw him I became very fond of him, as he was very young we were afraid he would die, but with a lot of dedication, attention and a lot of love we were able to take care of him as he should. To feed him was a whole process, more than once I had to put his food in my mouth so that he would eat from there, feeding him was a challenge, but all that effort was worth it... He is now with us, so happy and outrageous hehehe xD.

In the mornings "Chipi" is our alarm clock, as I already told you he is very rowdy.... When my mom wakes up she usually goes to the kitchen to make coffee and prepare breakfast, it is a unique routine that "Chipi" has also adopted since some time ago. When he sees that my mom is already in the kitchen, he gets out of his cage and flies to the counter, I say so because the kitchen is not very big, I live in an apartment, what he does is to make a flying leap hahaha xD, but anyway, the truth is, he comes to where my mom is making coffee and accompanies her in the whole routine of making breakfast.

In this second image that I show you of "Chipi" maybe you can notice that the back window is completely open, I tell you that he walks all over that window, there are times that my mom fights with him because every time he is in the window he starts to eat the plants that my mom has planted in some containers, that is a fight between my mom and him that never ends hahaha xD.

He never flies to the outside, except once when my niece accidentally scared him. I remember that day I ran the urbanization where I live like never before in my life, my mom was not at home, so I had to do everything possible to recover "Chipi", in the whole process of catching him again many things happened, I honestly thought that "Chipi" would leave :( I could see him flying high above the buildings (you can imagine), at that moment I only thought about packing my bags because the safest thing was that my mom would throw us out of the apartment for letting "Chipi" escape.

But for our luck we were able to catch him, although this happened because he got tired, he also got hit a lot because he ended up crashing in one of the buildings in front of where we live, at that moment I was also very scared, he had been beaten a lot by the blows. When I was finally able to catch him I brought him quickly to the house and gave him plenty of water to drink, he looked pretty exhausted, but the good thing about all this was that it was all just a scare, a bad time. When my mom arrived everything was so normal that she didn't even notice, in fact she never found out that her beloved parrot ever escaped.

This great friend has many stories, he sings, dances, breaks and makes his disasters, but here we love him very much and we have a gigantic affection for him, he is a faithful companion that with his witticisms makes us smile at any time of the day and to think that he came into our lives by pure chance, but I am very glad it was like that...

Being my first time in this special community, I want to take the opportunity to congratulate the entire working group that have enabled this space for animals, a space where we can express all the love we feel for them. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for undertaking this great support to animal life, I hope to continue contributing my grain of sand with all of you.

All the images that I showed in this content are of my total authorship.... Thanks for visiting me and taking your time to read me, see you soon!

Nice post, friend @leogolj

I had one just like it during my childhood. We slept, played, and ate together.

I don't know if it was female or male and it never had a name.

But one day he disappeared and I fell into great sadness for a while.

I love animals.

Thank you for bringing me back such beautiful memories.

A big hug
