Cleotilde y sus 52 años // Cleotilde and her 52 years

Cleotilde es una morrocoy gigante de 52 años, quien ha recorrido los jardines de mi vecina desde que apenas alcanzaba el tamaño de una moneda.

Hoy esta morrocoya ha tenido muchas crias, cuya cifra exacta no me la suministraron. En su mayori fueron regaladas amistades que les gusta estos vertebrados.
Guillermo es el macho con quien convive Cleotilde desde hace ms de dos decadas, ambos ha sabido llevar la convivencia en el patio de mi amiga de forma tal que prevalece la paz.

Cleotilde is a 52-year-old giant Morrocoy, who has walked around my neighbour's gardens since she was barely the size of a coin.

Today this morrocoy has had many offspring, whose exact number was not provided to me. Most of them were given as gifts by friends who like these vertebrates.
Guillermo is the male with whom Cleotilde has been living for more than two decades, both have known how to manage the coexistence in my friend's yard in such a way that peace prevails.

Fue realmente dificil lograr algunas tomas de Cleotilde, debido a que no es muy amistosa, pero luego de varias carreras por el camino que lleva a la parte trasera de la casa, logré algunas imágenes.

A Guillermo no lo pude fotografiar, estuvo escondido al igual que el resto de los hijos de Cleotilde, lo que me impidió mostrar a toda la familia en pleno y varias generaciones de esta singular morrocoy.

It was really difficult to get some shots of Cleotilde, because she is not very friendly, but after several runs along the road that leads to the back of the house, I got some images.

I couldn't photograph Guillermo, he was hidden like the rest of Cleotilde's children, which prevented me from showing the whole family and several generations of this unique morrocoy.

Por otro lado fue imposible medirla o compararla en tamaño con un perrito Golden que es de mi amiga, ya que Marcus la respeta y no se le acerca por nada del mundo.

Su tamaño es realmente impresionante, mide aproximadamente como 60 cm, es casi del tamaño de mi perrito Rocket, un Schnauzer mediano.

On the other hand it was impossible to measure or compare her in size with a Golden dog that belongs to my friend, since Marcus respects her and does not approach her for anything in the world.

Its size is really impressive, it measures about 60 cm, it is almost the size of my little Rocket dog, a medium Schnauzer.

Y en lo que respecta a su alimentación, come muchas verduras y frutas, lo que le ha permitido mantener un peso acorde a su tamaño.
