Quality time with my dog

These last weeks I’ve been really stressed; I had lots of exams and projects, and during the weekend I hanged out with my friends. For this reasons I haven’t been able to spend as much time with my dog as I would like to. I only had time to take him out at night for his last walk, whilst my dad took him out the rest of the day.

Today has been my first day of Christmas break and I finally have time to be with Enzo. Not only am I happy to spend time with my dog but I’m also happy to give my dad a break, since he always takes out Enzo.

This morning I brought Enzo to my neighborhood park. I played with him and he was able to run as much as we wanted in the grass.

Bringing Enzo to the park is also quite therapeutic for me. As a teenager I’m always using my phone and many time I can’t concentrate on other things if I have my phone. However, whenever I bring Enzo to the park I know I can’t be distracted, it’s an open park and he can always get lost on the street or even end up in the road by himself. It’s also not really hard to leave my phone when I’m playing with Enzo since we both are having a great time. Overall, after the park I feel refreshed and I feel like I’ve actually done something productive.

Today there weren’t many dogs but still Enzo had the opportunity to play around with other dogs and he even sun bathed.

When we got home Enzo was quite tired so while I was laying in bed Enzo hoped and took a nap on my back. Something which has never happened, which I think means that he had a great time with me at the park.
