Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una experiencia que tuve en casa; el día domingo llego el abuelo materno de mis hijos (mi suegro) con un regalo; nada mas y nada menos que una oveja; el llego muy feliz porque sabe que a los niños les encantan los animales y disfrutan mucho correr y jugar por todo el patio de la casa.

Nuestra sorpresa fue que la oveja llego muy brava, me imagino que fue por el viaje; yo pienso que no era brava, sino asustada porque no sabia lo que iba a pasar con ella; al momento de llegar a casa comenzó a pelear con nuestro pequeño Chivo Saltarín, quien salía corriendo para evitar la pelea.

Lo mas sorprendente fue que en menos de 5 minutos, ya ambos andaban juntos como si fuesen los mejores amigos del mundo; nosotros observamos y nos reíamos; le comentaba a mi esposa que hay animales que son como los niños, porque socializan fácilmente ya que no distinguen raza, color y las diferencias físicas que puedan existir, estas son amistades genuinas y de allí me imagino que nace el dicho “el perro es el mejor amigo del hombre”.

The most surprising thing was that in less than 5 minutes, the two of them were already together as if they were the best friends in the world; we watched and laughed; I commented to my wife that there are animals that are like children, because they socialize easily since they do not distinguish race, color and physical differences that may exist, these are genuine friendships and from there I imagine that the saying “the dog is the man's best friend ”.

Por la noche me puse a pensar que diferente seria el mundo si fuésemos así como los animales, donde no hay discriminación de raza; porque muchas veces podemos ver amistad entre perros y gatos, y nos damos cuenta que somos nosotros los humanos los que hacemos distinciones, porque puedo citar un refrán que dice “están peleando como perros y gatos”, así decimos cuando nos referimos a una pelea fuerte. Creo que todo depende de la forma en que nos enseñen a relacionarnos y a ver a las personas, mi opinión es que esta es una actitud adquirida, cuando somos niños no tenemos desarrollada esta malicia de menospreciar a alguien.

Recuerdo cuando de niño peleaba con algún amigo y mi papá decía, “en problemas de niños yo no me meto, porque al rato andan juntos de nuevo“; algo que es muy cierto porque al rato se nos olvidaba la pelea y comenzábamos a jugar, cuando somos niños no sabemos de rencores.

Ya nuestras mascotas el chivo “Saltarín” y la oveja “Tormenta”, como la bautizo Matthias; andan juntos para todas partes y se divierten al jugar con mis pequeños, Saltarín a dejado de estar tan inquieto y disfruta de la compañía de su nueva amiga.
