Conoces que es el impacto ambiental?
Primero debemos definir que es IMPACTO: se considera como impacto el efecto que ejerce una acción sobre determinado objeto. El impacto ambiental se puede entender con el efecto causado por cierta acción sobre el medio ambiente
Los impactos pueden ser:
• Positivos o negativos
• Permanente o temporal
• Irreversibles o recuperable
La evaluación del impacto ambiental varia por países, en Venezuela lo definimos como: “orientado a predecir y evaluar los efectos del desarrollo de una actividad sobre los componentes del ambiente natural y social y proponer las correspondientes medidas preventivas, mitigantes y correctivas” (Decreto 1.257/1996).
La evaluación permite la creación de medidas para amortiguar, corregir, mitigar, impedir, limitar y suspender acciones que pueden degradar el ambiente. Para ello la educación ambiental es fundamental para la creación de medidas ambientales.
Podemos clasificar las Medidas Ambientales como:
Actualmente en Venezuela, están ocurriendo derrames petroleros en la costa del estado Falcón, los cuales han afectado la flora y fauna marina y kilómetros de costa, hecho que pudo ser evitado por medidas preventivas y manejo adecuado del hidrocarburo, en este caso la evaluación ambiental nos indica el impacto de este hecho, siendo negativo, temporal y recuperable SI Y SOLO SI se toman las medidas remediales a tiempo.
Podemos ver un ejemplo de las medidas ambientales para el caso del derrame petrolero:

First we must define what is IMPACT: it is considered as impact the effect that an action exerts on a certain object. The environmental impact can be understood with the effect caused by a certain action on the environment
The impacts can be:
- Positive or negative
- Permanent or temporary
- Irreversible or recoverable
The evaluation of the environmental impact varies by country, in Venezuela we define it as: "oriented to predict and evaluate the effects of the development of an activity on the components of the natural and social environment and to propose the corresponding preventive, mitigating and corrective measures" (Decree 1,257/1996).
The evaluation allows the creation of measures to cushion, correct, mitigate, prevent, limit and suspend actions that can degrade the environment. For this purpose, environmental education is fundamental for the creation of environmental measures.
We can classify the Environmental Measures as:
Currently in Venezuela, oil spills are occurring on the coast of Falcon state, which have affected the marine flora and fauna and kilometers of coast, a fact that could be avoided by preventive measures and proper management of hydrocarbons, in this case the environmental assessment indicates the impact of this fact, being negative, temporary and recoverable IF AND ONLY IF remedial measures are taken in time.
