My #MarketFriday post - A lot of stores/shops/foodchains are closed
Good day everyone, I regret I missed a week without sending my #marketfriday post, and I don't want to miss it again today.
Anyhow, I just want to share our activity today, I mean our trip to the mall to buy some important things to be used in the house, by which I took the chance to take some pictures to be shared in my #marketfriday entry for this week.
And here you go, this may not be good photos but at least everyone would at least know what I did today.
So the original purpose of going to the mall today was to send some Corn Coffee ordered by my FB friend from another city. This is is the one I mentioned before, my simple business of buying and sell Corn Coffee. Now I really want to blog about it, hopefully soon.
Another purpose was to claim some payments of those I sent last week and thanks to God I made everything in place today. Although we encountered a little problem with my old car but still thankful we were able to return back home safe and sound.
So upon entering the mall I see some stores, shops, and food chains that are closed already, this is because of the present pandemic that we are facing. I really pity those workers who lost their jobs, I'm hoping and praying that they were able to find for another job or other source of income.
As you can see in the photo below, McDonald's is closed already and as I estimate, there were about 20 to 30 employees assigned there. I also learned that their other branches located in some other parts of the city were also closed now, so maybe there are about 100 people who lost their jobs now not to mention the other food chains and shops that are also experiencing financial problems.
Anyway please find the other photos I took while roaming around, as usual, there were still a lot of sale items and even buy one take one to some selected products, I can feel how hard it is now with covid19 around.
The pandemic has caused too much damage already not only to the health of the people but also to the economic condition of the city. I just hope and pray that this virus will vanish very soon.
In the meantime let us all protect ourselves against this invisible enemy, it is very important to wear a mask and face shield, even if I find it uncomfortable but for my safety and for the safety of everyone I did use those simple protective gear.
So this is my #marketfriday post for this week see you next time.
Take care everyone and God bless us all!
All photos are mine.

That's a lot of empty stores and spaces in that mall. Business is sure bad. I feel for those who are affected. I would not think that a MacDonald outlet could close especially one that is inside the mall. Our malls here are doing better than yours although traffic has really dropped from the pre-Covid volume. That's a new business you are in corn coffee. I hope you will do fine with this. I am not so much a coffee drinker so I wouldn't know the difference between the cup with real coffee beans and one with the corn. I bet though that it would have a corny aroma (he he he).
Great post my friend. Although if I view it in my cell phone, most of the pictures are sideways. But if I use my table pc they are all right.
