Market Friday

There's a difference of opinion growing in the UK. We have people who want to lockdown and then there's people like me who think we need to get on with it. When I was out shopping this poster really narked me. Posters either make me feel guilty or are full of orders. It's as though, unless you are on an emergency errand you shouldn't be out. One minute the government is telling you to get out and boost the economy and then they blame you for spreading the disease! They're as useful as a chocolate fireguard. Next time I'm passing I'm taking a felt tip pen to answer this question!

The last message on the list "contactless is the best way to pay" made me smile. I went into the charity shop and it was cash only! A lot more people are paying by card and sometimes it crashes the system. Today was one of those days, so I had to pay by cash, which I prefer to do.

I daren't even cough in shops these days. If I sneeze, I hold it in and practically self combust in doing so.

After all the posters telling me to do this and that, it was a nice change to see all animals welcome in this shop! Not a coronavirus sign in sight!

Don't forget ... S TAY S AFE! 😁

PS Warmest Wishes to Denise x.

We're being pushed towards contactless payment, but still no cryptocurrency accepted at most places. It's weird being stuck in the middle like this with a solution to a problem most don't realize they have yet.

I'm old school. I like my cash. I spend more with my card!

Thank you so much, Ellen. Yes, even people have become bullies, but, the signs are really hilarious. The ones that scream stay away... too late. I am already here reading your sign. There are truly too many mixed messages. Give me one and I will try to comply.

I hear you are shutting down again?

Le Sigh.

I found your signs to be funny and even though cash is great, I use credit cards anyway to get the points. :)) If you pay it off, you never see any interest. If you don't, throw it away. It's cleaner and we all know money is gross. But, I am glad that the shop is cash only, it saves THEM the fees. Loved you post! You always make me smile! :)) I have done my first reading all of the #MarketFriday posts, which I normally do before I comment on any. It has been my habit since the beginning of the challenge. I have told all of you how humbled I am, so many people taking the time to put a quality post together, so that we may share with each other.

To this day, I learn something new each time I read your post, sometimes only a small detail is new, but, it is a process, like building with blocks. Each time, more blocks are added until I understand how it is built, or how you think. Your culture is one to be proud of and I am so excited to learn more each week. I am fascinated by it all. I never like to miss anything on it. I cannot even begin to tell you how much they mean to me, that you take the time. There have been some really interesting ways that #MarketFriday has been presented, all of which add more charm to the mixing bowl. The challenge points out our differences, but, then, it also shows many things our cultures share. When the day is done, it shows off how human we all are and how we basically all care about our families and others.

I love the experience of it all. I appreciate the love and support given to #MarketFriday! Thank you! Truly! Your participation adds a piece of your world, and I have to say, people are interested in is seeing it. This entire challenge has opened up the world to me and so many others. Thank you again for being a part of all this! I am so happy to see you here@ I hope you have a fabulous day! Hive on!!

We seem to be doing regional lockdowns at the moment. We have a tier system 1, 2 and 3. My area is ok at the moment but watch this space! We seem to be divided between people wanting lockdown and people like me who are against it. I visited a friend last week and she gave me my Christmas present in case we couldn't get to meet before then. She's dafter than me! 🙂

I'm glad to see you back in the fold.

❤️ Good to be back... We have a tier system too. Ours is a little broader. I will keep watching your space, for sure.

As for your friend. OMG! LOL Really????
