Before We Speak

It's so unfortunate when you are in such a situation where a clash would take place if you say something like that and guess what, you end up saying that particular thing that starts World War III. The same thing happened to me, I got the feeling, that even though I did choose to stay silent in a heat-up situation if you go silent, it bugs the other too, and when I spoke, it was way hotter than their capability to bear, resulting in a clash.

When we are in a fight, it gets super hard to pull the hard break on the mouth, things get so hot that we keep talking on and on, and most of them are like fuels on the burning fire. We don't stop as long as everything doesn’t turn into ashes, once we see the ash, we get our senses back. But it's too late, the damage is done, and now the process of fixing depends on how fast you realize the situation and act accordingly to fix it.

From the little I have lived so far, one thing I am sure of is that those who have full control over what they are saying could make the best out of their life. At least, living a peaceful life, I guess so, maybe I am wrong, what are your opinions? If you don't have proper control over what you are saying would make things worse if not the worst.

I still remember, at a family gathering, something slipped out of me unknowingly that made a couple so embarrassed that till now whenever I go before them I feel like they are still mad at me, lol. Also, I have met a few people, who can speak so well organized that by the dint of their speaking skill, they are gaining extra profits in many places and some are lagging behind just because they lack in speaking properly. The more you mix with varieties of people, the more you master this skill set.

I am satisfied with myself, it just happens sometimes that I mess up. If the person in front of me also messes up at the same time that is an apocalypse. Just the one I had yesterday, still the effects of post-apocalypse are visible. Even after so much control, I ended up creating such a mess, especially when I could have easily managed the situation. Right now, struggling to fix this, destroyed in a few seconds but it might need a few days now to fix, such is life,

So yeah, be the master of yourself which will result in avoiding unnecessary fuss pretty easily.

One thing I do is don’t talk when I’m angry which I still find it hard to control at times. That’s because I know who I can be and how saucy I can be when angry so it will not be nice to say things that will make people angry anytime they see me just like the couples who get angry at you

True bit as I have said, its really really hard to control ourselves on such situations.

I admit to practicing what I might say in a discussion (or had said sometimes). I do find it helpful to organise my thoughts in writing (and then post them here lol) as the chance to express yourself is limited, especially in our current world where many topics are taboo. As I get older I'm learning to speak from the heart and connecting with whom I'm speaking on that level. Although I don't find it easy.

I do that too, have a mindmap on what to say or not. But things don't go as per plans always, sometimes they get messy and we do slip out of our structured methodology, and that's the moment I talked about.

Thank you for stopping by.

Yes, we really need to control our speech, and even the way our silence is perceived.
