We Rant/ How I spent my Day

I woke up very early yesterday because of the cold weather evoked by the harmattan. Because of the cold morning, I could not sleep very well so I was awake by half-past 3 am. And when I woke up, I decided to read my books and after that, I checked some of the messages on my phone before going to sleep again.

This time, it was 6:00 am when I woke up. I quickly did my morning devotion before I went out to perform my duties.
I was just rushing around because I don't need to be late for church.

I made a fire to boil some hot water to aid my bathing because it was actually cold weather.

After that, I cleaned the environment before I went to the goat house to check on them.

I tidied up their pan, you then drop some feeds and water for them.

Later, I left for the stream to fetch water. This time, the river is already dried so we have to fetch from the superficial cistern.

At the stream
When I returned home, I brushed up, took my bath then the breakfast as well before I went to church.

The gathering endured for five hours before we were dismissed.

At the meeting place
I went home after exchanging greetings with some of our members. When I came back, the sun was very hot so I went to my room to replenish my energy.

After some minutes, I rinsed some of my dad's clothes before getting on food preparation.

The cooking lasted for some minutes before everything was done.

After I had eaten, a friend came to visit. We had a very good long talk together which last for hours.

My friend and I
In the evening, I helped my younger sister with her homework before I went to my room to rest for the day.

This was how I spent my previous day being Sunday.

You guys fetch water from the stream? That means you live in a remote rural area.
Your day seems quite resourceful.

Dear my young friend @jsalvage , Looking at the pictures of you and your friend, I feel your daily hard work. 😦

Do you have to go to the stream every day to get water?
In Korea, water is transferred from household to household mostly through water pipes.

Yes dear @goldgrifin007, I usually go to the stream daily to fetch water. We are on dry season here, so some of the well are dried up already.
That photo looks so beautiful. Life is better over there in Korea. Wish I can one day visit the south Korea republic..😅

Really, that would be a greatest gift, to see you in Nigeria. Lagos is one of the biggest cities we have here. I stay in a remote area, so i dont think you will like the idea of visiting my exact place of residence. Heheh.

Well, i have been admiring to study or live in one of the Korean cities, but it seems that i am building castle on air because i dont have anyone to assist me😟

I have a silly dream of trying to fight beasts in the Nigerian jungle.😄

Dear my young friend @jsalvage , Most of the world is poorer than the rich. There are many poorer people in Korea than you.

You are happy that you now have parents, brothers, sisters, house, livestock, and farms.
Are you sure you think all Korean dramas are true? Korean dramas are mainly non-fictions that portray the fantasies of the public.

As far as I'm concerned, you may be the president of Nigeria in the future.😄

I may agree with your opinion on the fact that many countries in the world are poor but, being the president of Nigeria is what I object to 😁

I understand! By the way, are there lions, leopards, elephants, and chimpanzees in Nigeria?

Those days where it's very cold in the morning and get's pretty warm and hot in the afternoon are challenging! Can't figure out a temperature to be comfortable at lol. Sounds like a day of normal life in a remote area, thanks for sharing!

Dear @jsalvage , I like pictures of you and your friends. Can I have a picture of you? I like the facial expressions of you and your friend.
The expression of your friend sitting in a chair seems to reveal your hidden solitude and sadness.
