Speed Drawing: Birds On Gold | Aggro Bird
Aggro Bird is a piece from my " Bird on Gold" series & also my first ever AR piece!
The bird is very loosely inspired from a picture but I doubt that, by now, it looks anything like the original, let´s name it "Aggro Bird" since he looks pissed off and about to deck me.
TIME-LAPSE
The bird is drawn with fountain pen, shaded with Sumi ink, painted with watercolors, & decorated with Gilding paper. You can find the list of materials I used at the end of the post.
AUGMENTED REALITY
I always look for ways to bridge virtual and RL and have been messing around with Augmented Reality and more specifically ArtiVive. This is my first AR piece/NFT😀🤘!
I consider the process a piece of art goes through to be as important as the final piece; well, thanks to ArtiVive, I have been able to combine the process with the original piece in AR. Let´s give it at try!
THE FINAL PIECE
The physical piece is 21 x 14 cm or 8.27 x 5.83 inches, and is framed in an handmade Plexiglas minimalist frame. The NFT was minted as 1/1 edition on KnownOrigin and sold fairly quickly.
