What is baptism in the Bible? (Part 1 of 3)

avatar

Mark 10:39. Baptism is the sanctification of a person and set aside for the work of God.
Acts2:38 reveals that baptism is used to remit sin. Baptism is a sign of repentance and the decision to abandon sin and never go back to sin.

In the case of Christ, baptism was conducted to launch Him to a life of exploits in the work of God.
