I have picked up this strain that I been dying to try. I was glad to try before I Harvest steem OG.
The Steem OG is a mix with Tahoe OG and another strain I always forget, Maybe @jonyoudyer can chime in. He is the awesome breeder of the first steem strain. You can find out more about the steem OG strain by heading over to
When it came to the Tahoe OG I know it is a super popular strain in California but up here in the Great White North we don't get it very often. When you think Tahoe OG you are likely thinking that it has OG Kush as one of the parent strains. I will have to say you are sport on. The fact of the matter is that Tahoe OG is just the great work of a pheno hunters as it is a lemon pheno of the great OG Kush.

For shatter, I like to use 3 groups to review. Looks, Taste, and Buzz.
Looks 10
Now I always like to say that amber to clear shatter is always the best. That was the case again when it came to this Tahoe OG. The shatter had a very nice constancy in a way that it was not too gooey. I have been very impressed with the THCCOLLECTION shatter as of late.
Taste 6
When it cames to the taste of concentrates I am always scared to know if they had add terps. When they add terps to the batch it gives it way to strong of a taste. This for some is good but for me, it ruins the shatter.
The taste of this here concentrate was a sweet lemon taste. I don't think they had added terps but it was not a good lemon taste as it had a woody after taste.
Buzz 10
I can tell anyone right now if you are a lightweight or not a big fan of Indicas stay away from this strain. This was a heavy Indica. From the very first toke, you feel the nice calming effects come over your eyes.
In conclusion, I have to give the Tahoe OG shatter like 8, but it is a great strain and I would love to try the flower of this stain but I will be able to try one of its offspring stains. Steem OG. Watch for the harvest and the strain review post.

Looks great. @MediKatie and I are shatterheads, for a few years now. At first, we needed dabs mainly because they smell less, and we lived in rentals. Now we have more freedom, but we still prefer extracts. Less lung issues than smoke, and best way to get large doses, which she needs.
TahoeG is tasty stuff. Never heard of that brand but then again there are thousands. MediKatie and I even helped run a venture in shatter :) But that's a story for another time haha.
Have a dab for us! We're about to hit some Nepali Temple and some classic Nuken.
Nice, I love how much heavier the concentrate can be. I mean nothing like burning a nice joint. But when you need to get medicated quick a dab always works.
