I took an early afternoon break from outside garden and yard work, it's been full sun and feeling like summer for the past few days. I packed up the turtle bowl with Pineapple Chunk buds for relaxing tokes in the shade. I was reading about how the cannabis Safe Banking Act recently passed the US House of Reps, it's been attached to the new Corona Virus Stimulus Package - next up is the US Senate to vote on it.

Pineapple Chunk

The Pineapple Chunk 50/50 balanced hybrid cannabis strain was created by Barney's Farm with the crossing of their own Pineapple strain, a Cheese strain, and Skunk #1 (Source). These indoor grown buds have a solid 25% THC with a smooth 1% CBD .

The Pineapple chunk buds have vibrant greens, bright and pale spindly orange pistils, and a heavy dusting of white trichomes, with a candy-like sweet and slightly skunky fruity pineapple citrus vanilla and faint cheese scent from the 2.29% Humulene, 0.83% alpha-Pinene, 0.61% Caryophyllene, 0.14% Terpinolene, 0.06% Myrcene, and less than 0.01% Linalool, Caryophyllene oxide, beta-Pinene, and Limonene terpenes (Terpene Source).

The Cannabis Safe Banking Act Passed the US House

The Safe Banking Act from last year had stalled in the US Senate - this would have given cannabis companies in legal States the ability to use the banking system with out fear of the Federal Government confiscating funds (cannabis still Federally illegal). The Safe Banking Act has been attached to the new 3 trillion dollar Corona Virus Stimulus Package that has already passed the US House - next it has to pass the US Senate. One of the bill sponsors gives it a 50/50 chance of passing the senate (Source). The The reasoning for The Safe Banking Act's attachment to the new Corona Virus Stimulus Package is that it would allow cannabis companies to do transactions without cash (Video Source). It sounds like a potential win for the cannabis companies, as long as the cashless transactions are optional.

Turtle Bowl

I packed up the turtle bowl for the Pineapple Chunk afternoon tokes.

I scrape the pipe out before each session for a clean flavor profile. A chunk goes in the bottom of the screen-less bowl before filling.

Sweet and slightly skunky pineapple citrus woody pine spice zest flavor, bright mouth tingling terpenes. Immediate mind relaxation, slightly hazy stone, cushioned with a light rush of euphoria. Beautifully balanced buds - relaxed and smooth energy with good focus and motivation. I'll save these Pineapple Chunk buds for mornings, afternoons, or early evenings.

Oh man nice! I grew this strain last year, but it hermed on me. I still got seeds and might give it a try again one day. They hermed because they where in the dark for 48 hours. It was a nice looking plant though.

Ahh man, that's a bummer - it's a good smoke, skunky cushion, smooth energy. Definitely a looker with all the trichomes and multi color pistils, sometimes they have some purples.
