Its all about Ego - My Day 4 Progress on @risingstar

Day 4 , yes another daily update of my progress on @risingstar.

As I delve further into this game and as the developers fine tune, revise and make adjustments, I am learning more and more about the game,

So yesterday I ended up with just a tad too many fans and started to accumulate Ego , I had over 1000 fans and my ego metre was at 80%

This is not what you want when just starting out in the game as the higher the Ego the less you earn,

Looking at the FAQ’s it states that you are better off being a humble musician and having an ego meter at 0 to earn the best rewards.

This means that you have to balance your ego with your skills.

The more fans you have the higher the ego goes unless you can have an equal amount of skill and fans. So if you have 1000 fans then you should try and have 100 skills.

This means doing lessons and or having cards that have high skill.

This means that skill cards are going to be highly valued and highly sought after
Today I managed to get one singing lesson under my belt; this increased my skill by 12, so it’s going to take a lot of lessons to get my skill up there to match the fans.

I reduced my fan base to under the 1000 mark, because that ego meter just scared me,

There is a lot more to the ego, as once you get over 100 fans you accumulate Ego exponentially while doing missions, each time you do a mission you get ego, do it again and you get a greater ego amount and so on and so forth, so if you are at that stage, mist her missions up so you keep the amount of ego you earn at a low number.

My progress today

Having energy is a big thing in that you need it to keep playing, you do find Pizza and coffee, but it still gets to a point where you have to walk away from the game to let the energy build back up. I guess this is good for when you should be doing offline world thing

I purchased another Pizza Box to store cold Pizza, I now have 2
I purchased an acoustic guitar so I can do Guitar lessons
I have placed some Fan Cards and a Vehicle on the market place, 1) to hopefully sell them, but also to reduce my Fan base
I made it to level 10, as was my goal, this took a while, due to energy and the higher missions taking extra time to complete, I hope to make level 12 over the next 24 hours
I now have 4506 Starbits which is up by 1200 from yesterday
My fan base is sitting on 938, 915 from cards and 23 Drunks
Luck is at 126
Skill at 189
My IM has dropped to 9 – some was attached to a vehicle which is now on the market

Cards that I currently own – Yes I am keeping diligent track of what I have , and the price I paid for them if purchased – so far I have spent approx 20 Swap Hive = approx $3.00

You can also use the In game currency StarBits to make purchases which means you can earn in the game what you need to progress in the game
I will be spending more on this game as I progress (Remember the finds go direct to the seller, so this is a community supporting the community)

I have now undertaken a total of 85 Missions up 21 in the past 24 hours , I think I can get to 100 today and get my first random card pack.

I still think that this is a great game to have running while doing other stuff and still really enjoying it at the moment.

The appeal is getting to the next level, the appeal is getting to the top and then once at the top it will be to be the top of the top 
