I bought my first Rising Star pack today 🤩

As you may know I am a huge Splinterlands fan and supporter. But I recently fell in love with another cool crypto game on the Hive blockchain: Rising Star. In the game you do different kind of missions which will give you Starbits (the ingame currency) and xp to level up. I'm addicted to this wonderful designed and really fun game. And now it was time for me to buy my very first pack in the game 🤩

So far I haven't bought a pack, but I've already bought some cards on the market. These cards were really cheap though and therefore not particularly helpful, although the pizza box is helping me a lot, because you can easily replenish your energy with it.

Now I finally wanted to try my luck and buy a pack of cards. A single pack costs 10,000 Starbits and by playing I've been able to earn 7,000 of them so far. So there were still about 3,000 Starbits missing that I bought on Hive-Engine. For that I deposited 1.5 Hive and completely exchanged it for a little over 4,000 Starbits.

Then I had enough Starbits to buy my first pack. I was very excited, especially knowing that there would be at least one rare card in the pack. I used to buy real life card packs as a child and I had a similar feeling of tension this time. And then it started ...

I've got Rosanne (common) and Mid Range Sax (common). Neither of them is helpig me that much, as Rosanne only has marginally better values ​​than Jake (my current musician). The Sax is not really better than my current i8 Mid Range Mic as well. Nevertheless, I was happy to receive additional cards. And then there's the rare card: Will. Definitely an improvement on my not so good team. He has 100 fans and 75 skills, which definitely helps me increase my overall stats a lot. At the market I could've bought him for around 7,500 Starbits, but overall I am not dissatisfied with my first pack. Altoough it wasn't outstanding either.

I will definitely buy more packs in the future, because I really enjoy drawing new cards and it is always good to improve my team. And maybe next time I'll draw an even better card ✌
