The Beauty and the Beast!
Good night, cat friends!
Tonight I'll just share a couple of photos from the cats that make company to my friends, in Azores.
When I last visited them, they had 2 cats... one was very beautiful and calm while the other was really lively and a bit of an ugly duckling. 🤭
Here is the first one, relaxing on top of a wooden basket:
He was always resting and never bothered about anything. All he wanted to do was to relax... or eat! 😊
His mate was the total opposite. Even while resting... he was restless. Always shaking his tail and moving constantly. And that's why I couldn't get a good shot of him. No matter how much I tried, he never laid still. So these photos ended up a bit blurred and shaky:
Why do I call him an ugly duckling? Since he was always getting into trouble... and fights with other cats or dogs, he had already got himself a broken tooth, a damaged paw and a cut on his ear. Yeah, he didn't get along with the neighbour's pets very well. 🙄
He had also fallen from a 2nd floor window, at one occasion... and felt right onto the concrete pavement. He got a few bruises and was hurting for a few days but upon a check-up, the vet ensured that nothing serious had happened to him. After a week or so, Flea was ready for some more trouble. (Yep, this cat was named Flea! I can't remember how the other dude was called, though.)
I hope you enjoyed these #caturday shots... and please leave a comment below.

I like that beautiful and calm one. The second looks ferocious and dangerous.
He wasn't mean. He was more like a child with ADD. 😄
That black cat looks really scary, as if he's ready to jump on you every second.
Indeed, he looked a bit mad but unless you provoked it, he wouldn't do a thing to you. 😆
you can already see which is the quieter cat and which is the more lively;)
Of course. 😄
Thanks for your visit.
The first cat is looking at this silly human with contempt, seemingly glancing a cautious but meh "hello". Meanwhile, Flea looks like he's already planning to jump on you, and so begins murder 😼

Yeah, that was a brave little fellow but he wouldn't attack unless provoked. 😊
Thanks for your visit and comment.
Haha, cheers! With how Flea looks at you, there's no way I'd be brave enough to provoke it. 😆
Flea must be male. That's why he gets into a lot of trouble with other cats. Especially when trying to mate with other female cats. Most often fights erupt and the strongest takes the prize. We have one cat like him. His name is Pepper. Gray with black stripes. He's always in a fight. I guess he's the strongest as no male cats ever enter our property. They're both alphas, your Flea and our Pepper.
Yeah, he was a male alright.
Thanks for your visit and comment.
You're welcome. Stay safe and a blessed Sunday to you.
Animals with attitude, exactly how I like them. Flea sounds like an awesome pet who knows exactly what he wants in life.

Yes, he was very strong minded! 😁

Cool photographs and feels bad for the Flea. It's hard for him with all those broken n cut stuffs on him. Hope he is good with humans 😊
He was... but I doubt any of them is still alive today, as this photo is already 10 years old. 🤔
Woo hmm, may be kids and grand kids 😊
Yeah, that's possible. 😁
Meow!! Everytime I see the word "Azores," I think of the northernmost place in the world that can grow pineapples. I don't remember where I heard this, but I think it was a doc film many years ago that explained the weather there is very warm for how far north it is.
Yeah, they're almost like tropical Islands. They're situated halfway between Portugal and the US. It's a complete different weather...
