Dedication

My life is sometimes unnecessarily complicated by moral principles, which I am unconsciously guided by and against which I can do nothing.

img_9176.jpg

For example, that I don't like people who don't do their job well. In my language, it's literally called "doing their job through the fingers".

img_9190.jpg

Especially when you are hired on an 8-hour day and you are not doing your job well.

In my home country, there is a very famous expression that comes from the time of communism and reads: They lie to us that they pay us (because of the extremely low wages at that time. And after that.) We lie to them that we work.

img_9179.jpg

And the worst thing is that this expression is still valid today, and "I lie to them that I work" is a norm of behavior that I have observed over the years in many of my colleagues in different jobs. Even with young people who obviously had no contact with communism, even with people in very responsible positions, even with people who are well paid.

So I think you'll understand what a feast for my senses it is when I see a person like the one in the pictures.

This was a man who played at an exhibition, a public event of his friend - voluntarily and for free.

And he did his job with such enthusiasm, and so well, that he had merged with the event and the wonderful music he performed.

img_9159.jpg

I can bet he didn't even notice me standing in front of him and taking pictures of him because he was completely dedicated to what he was doing and completely lost in art.

And you see under what conditions. 🎸😢
