day of contrasts

Another day of intense heat and the walk under the sun could only have one destination...

The refreshing waters of the nearest lagoon. On the way back a storm broke out, threatening clouds pregnant with lightning thickened.

We ran to take shelter by taking açaí inside a cafeteria while it rained heavily outside. We came back still feeling the drops of water already weak on the body, and there was no wind.

But the rays continued to cut across the sky on all sides forming circles, startling with flashes and thunder, some falling over the tops of the hills.
