¿Qué tal? Amigos Hivers, espero que estén teniendo un agradable día. El día de hoy estoy un poco nerviosa porque vengo a hablar por primera vez aquí de un tema que realmente ni siquiera he podido ejecutar bien en mi día a día. Como pocos saben, he de imaginar, pero lo dije en mi primer post. Soy Técnico Superior en Ciencias Audivisuales; he de destacar que mucho de lo que sé lo terminé aprendiendo sola, aún así en la actualidad no he podido ejercer correctamente mi carrera y tengo muy poca práctica en lo que ello abarca el cine, radio, televisión y fotografía. De igual manera e decidido venir aquí para contarles un poco sobre mis inicios en una de esas ramas que es la fotografía.

How are you? Hivers friends, I hope you are having a nice day. I'm a little nervous today because I'm here to talk for the first time about a topic that I really haven't even been able to execute well in my day to day life. As few of you know, I have to imagine, but I said it in my first post. I am a Superior Technician in Audiovisual Sciences; I have to emphasize that much of what I know I ended up learning it alone, even so at the present time I have not been able to exercise my career correctly and I have very little practice in what it includes cinema, radio, television and photography. In the same way I decided to come here to tell you a little about my beginnings in one of those branches which is photography.

Bueno, para comenzar, quiero decir que luego de haberme graduado, intenté varias veces seguir practicando y mejorar mis técnicas con respecto a todo lo aprendido durante mi tiempo de estudiante. Lastimosamente no fueron muchas las oportunidades que tuve para poder seguir adelante y mejorar con cada paso que daba. Aún así, actualmente siento que soy un poco más competente con respecto a ello, y terminé descubriendo lo mucho que incluso me gusta estar detrás y frente a una cámara.

Well, to begin with, I want to say that after I graduated, I tried several times to continue practicing and improving my techniques with respect to everything I learned during my time as a student. Unfortunately, I didn't have many opportunities to move forward and improve with every step I took. Even so, nowadays I feel that I am a bit more competent about it, and I ended up discovering how much I even like being behind and in front of a camera.

Mis amigas y amigos siempre han decidido ser mis modelos. A veces no estuvieron seguros de la idea de estar frente a una cámara, de hecho, al principio siempre da un poco de terror porque pensamos que quizá no somos lo suficientemente fotogénicos para ser fotografiados. De igual forma en ocasiones logré convencerlos de que siendo yo que les tomaría las fotos, estarían tranquilos y no habría presión.

My friends have always decided to be my models. Sometimes they were not sure about the idea of being in front of a camera, in fact, at the beginning it is always a little scary because we think that maybe we are not photogenic enough to be photographed. However, sometimes I managed to convince them that since I would be the one taking their pictures, they would be at ease and there would be no pressure.

Como pueden notar, tuve una idea sencilla para la sesión de la que estoy dejando un poco de previas aquí. Quería mostrar la esencia de ella misma, lo tranquila y apaciguada que es. No tenía intenciones de sacarla de su zona de confort, de hecho, cada cosa que hacíamos, ella estaba feliz de realizarlas porque parecía conocer lo que ella realmente quería.

As you can tell, I had a simple idea for the session that I'm leaving a little preview of here. I wanted to show the essence of herself, how calm and peaceful she is. I had no intentions of taking her out of her comfort zone, in fact, every single thing we did, she was happy to do because she seemed to know what she really wanted.

Con respecto a mi edición, considero que fue un poco sosa al principio, aún me falta mucho por aprender, aunque considero que he mejorado mucho luego de esa primera vez tomándole fotos a alguien más que no era yo misma. A pesar de eso, no he perdido el amor por la fotografía, mis prioridades actuales cambiaron un poco, vivo más ocupada que disponible y no tengo el tiempo necesario para seguir practicando como me gustaría, además de que en este tiempo que estamos viviendo en el mundo, se dificulta mucho más. Espero poder seguir aprendiendo y mejorando en un futuro, está en mis planes.

Regarding my editing, I consider that it was a little bland at the beginning, I still have a lot to learn, although I consider that I have improved a lot after that first time taking pictures of someone else who was not myself. Despite that, I have not lost the love for photography, my current priorities have changed a bit, I live busier than available and I don't have the time to continue practicing as I would like to, besides that in this time we are living in the world, it is much more difficult. I hope to continue learning and improving in the future, it is in my plans.
