#Photography - ¿Que tan seguro te sientes? / How safe do you feel? [Esp/Eng]
Hola amigos y bienvenidos a un nuevo post de fotografía. El día de hoy me gustaría compartirles esta pequeña secuencia de fotografías que tomé hace algunas semanas.
Me encontraba en la calle y mientras buscaba algo interesante que capturar me encontré esta escena y resulto ser una escena bien curiosa.
En la fotografía de arriba se puede observar a dos jóvenes y a un agente de la policía que se van caminando por la calle sin más.
Hello friends and welcome to a new photography post. Today I would like to share with you this small sequence of photographs that I took a few weeks ago.
I was on the street and while I was looking for something interesting to capture, I came across this scene and it turned out to be a very curious scene.
In the photo above you can see two young men and a police officer who are walking down the street without further ado.
De repente, uno de los jóvenes voltea y trata de disimular una mirada hacía el agente.
En la siguiente imágen se ve como ambos voltean a ver al oficial, como si tuvieran miedo de algo.
Suddenly, one of the young men turns and tries to hide a look at the agent.
In the following image it is seen how both turn to see the officer, as if they were afraid of something.
Tristemente la actitud de desconfianza de estos chicos es más que entendible y un reflejo de nuestra sociedad. En un país que sigue estando controlado por la violencia y donde las detenciones son arbitrarias e injustificadas, los ciudadanos no nos podemos dar el lujo de sentirnos tranquilos o seguros.
Pese a los recientes esfuerzos, México sigue siendo un país corrupto e inseguro.

Sadly, the distrustful attitude of these boys is more than understandable and a reflection of our society. In a country that continues to be controlled by violence and where arrests are arbitrary and unjustified, citizens cannot afford to feel calm or safe.
Despite recent efforts, Mexico remains a corrupt and insecure country.
