The rain and the cold came to the city and I couldn't miss the opportunity to go out and take pictures. / La lluvia y el frío llegó a la ciudad y no podía perder la oportunidad de salir a hacer fotografías.
Just as it was predicted, yesterday the rain came and with it an intense cold, and I say intense because in this city it rarely goes below 10 degrees Celsius, so with this in mind, I went out in the afternoon when the temperature changed so I could take a few pictures, everyone looked at me as if I was crazy to be without a sweater or a woolen cap, but in truth when I got to the center of the city it was not so bad.
Justo como fue pronosticado, el día de ayer llegó la lluvia y con ella un frío intenso, y digo intenso porque en esta ciudad rara vez baja a menos de 10 grados centígrados, así que con esto en mente, salí por la tarde cuanto la temperatura cambió para poder tomar unas cuantas fotografías, todo mundo me veía como si yo estuviera loco por estar sin suéter o gorro para el frío, pero en verdad cuando llegue al centro de la ciudad no estaba tan mal.
You may say that I believe too much in my work, but several of yesterday's photos I liked too much like this one, which was actually the last one I took, at that time I was already a little wet from the rain and I was starting to get a little cold, I didn't take a coat so I had to stop my adventure, but I liked the result.
Puede que digas que creo demasiado en mí trabajo, pero varias de las fotos de ayer me gustaron demasiado como ésta, que en realidad fue la última que tomé, en ese momento ya estaba algo mojado por la lluvia y comenzaba a darme un poco de frío, no me lleve abrigo así que tuve que parar mi aventura, pero el resultado me gustó.
Ok, time to go back in time, when I arrived to the place I had to make a payment to the government for the water, I paid the next year in advance and so I got a small discount, but I took advantage to make these two pictures, at that time the sky was overcast and the light looked a little weird, still I like the final color.
Ok, hora de regresar en el tiempo, cuando llegué al lugar tenía que hacer un pago a gobierno por el agua, pagué el siguiente año por adelantado y así obtuve un pequeño descuento, pero aproveche para hacer éstas dos fotografías, en ese momento el cielo estaba nublado y la luz se veía un poco rara, aun así me gusta el color final.
In less than a minute the rain began to fall with more intensity, although it was more breezy than anything else, but at the same time the clouds opened up to the sun's rays, I liked the contrast, although the final result was not so much.
En menos de un minuto la lluvia comenzó a caer con más intensidad, aunque era más brisa que nada, pero al mismo tiempo las nubes dieron paso a los rayos del sol, me gustó el contraste, aunque el resultado final no tanto.
The people who suffer most with these climates are the older people, I don't want to think about the health of this gentleman or the reason for walking in the rain and cold.
Las personas que más sufren con éstos climas son los adultos mayores, no quiero pensar en la salud de este señor ni el motivo de andar caminando bajo la lluvia y el frío.
After that I went to make the payment for the one I was going to the government office, when I came out the light had another tone again, when I saw this gentleman I thought about leaving the scene underexposed so that everything would look more dramatic.
Después de eso me fui a hacer el pago por el que iba a la oficina de gobierno, cuando salí la luz tenía otro tono nuevamente, al ver éste señor pensé en dejar subexpuesta la escena para que todo se viera más dramático.
In this place I took another three pictures, they are not the best angles because it was really full of people, and I could not move easily, I had just left the office and I was waiting for my body to take the ambient temperature, since there was the heating in the office.
En este lugar tomé otras tres fotografías, no son los mejores ángulos porque en verdad estaba lleno de gente, y no me podía mover con facilidad, acababa de salir de la oficina y esperaba que mi cuerpo tomara la temperatura ambiente, ya que en la oficina había calefacción.
All the previous pictures were taken with the 55-250mm just as @jacuzzi likes, to avoid influencing the scene and not contaminate the energy, the only picture of this post that was taken with the 50mm was the one I put at the beginning, but I put it back here so you don't have to go all the way to the top of the post again, in the next post I will show the pictures that I took with the 50mm, but those are for black and white because I thought so from the beginning.
Todas las fotografías anteriores las tomé con el 55-250mm tal y como a @jacuzzi le gusta, para evitar influir en la escena y no contaminar la energía, la única foto de éste post que fue tomada con el 50mm fue la que puse al inicio, pero la vuelvo a poner aquí para que no tengas que ir hasta arriba del post de nuevo, en el siguiente post mostraré las fotos que tomé con el 50mm, pero esas son para blanco y negro porque así las pensé desde el principio.

Muy buenas fotografías! Definitivamente comparto el placer que expresas por salir de vez en cuando tan solo a tomar unas cuentas imágenes de la ciudad. Mucha gente que conozco se siente atrapada en los entornos urbanos, pero a mí me encantan. Creo que muchas personas se beneficiarían de implementar la práctica fotográfica en sus vidas.
Muchas gracias, yo soy de los que piensan que debemos adaptarnos a nuestro entorno, me gusta la ciudad, siempre he vivido en ciudades, y ahí me siento libre, si viviera en el campo seguramente mi contenido sería más sobre paisaje, pero salir y dar la vuelta buscando fotografías es relajante para mí, saludos y felíz año nuevo.
