Stories Behind Those Photos Series - 01

I'm not so sure if when was the last time I posted from this community. I'm glad had the chance to read this post thus giving me guidance or tips on how to present my photographs in order to be noticed or curated.

Well, I've been sharing photos I took which I find wonderful in the past but never ever given its due credit perhaps it's because the way I presented them is not right.

Hopefully this time I would be able to create a well-presented and amusing post for everyone to enjoy at least.

So my plan is to present groups of photos more or less of the same class and share a story associated with them. I find it amusing also on my part, it's like reminiscing those wonderful memories in the past. Memories that will linger on till the end of time.

This first set of photos I would like to share is about animals most specifically Cows.

Cattle, or cows and bulls, are the most common type of large domesticated ungulates. They are a prominent modern member of the subfamily Bovinae, are the most widespread species of the genus Bos, and are most commonly classified collectively as Bos taurus. - Wikipedia

I took these pictures very recently. A few months ago we were able to visit a wonderful place located just adjacent to our abode. It was actually a whole family activity with my sister and her family too. It was such a great experience, and it was in this place where we had our lunch.

Why I choose these photos?

I just had a realization, when every living thing was given the chance to live in this world, I pity those animals like cows whose life is kind of gloomy. Their lives seem so sad because the essence of their existence is only to provide some basic needs of humans like milk or food or even for clothing. They are like a sacrifice just for others to live. They are not destined to live long just as humans do.

I don't know but it seems that I don't want to eat them anymore. But no that's how things are, them to provide basic needs of humans in order for humans to live, it's their purpose. Isn't that a noble purpose?

The following are some of the reasons why people raised them:
Cattle are commonly raised as:

as livestock for meat
for milk
for hides, used to make leather
their dung which can be used to create manure

Truly cattle is providing us a lot of great things useful and essential. Do you know how many cows were being slaughtered every day to provide us food? In 2018, 800,000 cows were being slaughtered every day for food. Quite a number right? Now I am asking myself what I can do to reduce that number?

The next set of photos I am sharing with you is about kids.

I don't know but I am really captivated by their innocence. I love kids and I see hope in them. I see the power in their unimpeachable faces.

They are full of dreams, they are competitive even if they are still young. I can see a brighter future with these kids as the leaders of tomorrow. And I really find the need to guide them, to take care of them, to protect them.

People may not know it but child abuse is rampant all over the world. And a lot of children suffer from neglect, physical abuse, sexual abuse, emotional abuse and exploitation. In the US alone, there are 700,000 children who are abused in different forms in each year this is according to National Children's Alliance. Such number I find huge in just one country. Perhaps if we will consider the same violations in the whole world, I can no longer imagine the figure.

Anyhow the question here is what should we do in order to lessen such violations to the right of children? I think there a lot of things that we can do to help.

For me the best thing to do is to start respecting the rights of the children at home. Helping them to be knowledgeable about such inherent rights that they possess upon birth. Guiding them on what to do if ever they will encounter or experience child abuse.
