Bernina Express, In Color, few visual memories

Bernina Express, despite its name is a slow speed train that goes from Switzerland to Northern Italy with route going high up the Swiss Alps. Some time ago, before Covid, I went to visit few friends of mine who live in Switzerland and this scenery travel with the red train was a present to me, a present that I still enjoy from time to time when I open my photo album from that day. During the winters it seems that train is used generally by the lovers of the winter sports but in the rest of the season, it is a ride to enjoy the gorgeous nature of the Swiss Alps!

If you have the chance to take that ride, take your camera and few memory cards with you because the train windows could almost be fully opened/lowered down, contrary to the most of the regular passenger trains! So when it is not raining or snowing, or it isn't too cold, there is no glass and artificial reflections between your lens and the landscape outside! Also, as its speed isn't big, I found out that most of the times when using wide to normal focal lengths, 16-35-50 mm on a full frame camera body, then shutter speeds of 1/320 are enough to avoid motion blur, if you want that out, of course!
