Street fashion inspired lifestyle portraits of Gina.

Sometime last year, I stole a chance to create photos at a newly commissioned flyover built quite close to where I lived. A 5 minutes drive actually. They had painted the pillars with vibrant colors and patterns.

The workers still had little work to be done, so people could still access the area to do whatever. My intention was to shoot there. So I quickly hit up Gina, agreed on the kind of fashion/style that'll suit the location.

The next day was shoot day. We took some photos at the studio, then proceeded to the location. We were expecting resistance from workers at the sight, but fortunately we didn't have to say much as they wanted to see what we wanted to do.

Gina is an amazing model, such that we didn't have to spend so much time shooting. She gave all the right poses, had all the right angles in check. In under 40 minutes we were done.

We had created loads of photos, but these 4 were my best picks. I kinda loved the vibrant yellows. I said kinda because I'm not a yellow person really. But I made it work.

I'll love to create more street fashion inspired photos like this. I posted those photos on Instagram and people seemed to really like them.

Let me know in the comments section what you think about the photos, and which one is your favorite.

Great photoshoot! Those turned out fantastic. I love the final colouring of it - I think the yellow turned out really well - and the model was perfect. My favourite of the four is the second with her looking contemplative. Very nice!

Thank you very much. I really did good with the yellow. It was easy to work with it because I had blues in the environment and her jeans too. Blue and yellows compliment themselves easily.

I love this shoot! I think the first one is my favourite, the most natural moment, but they are all really nice tones and vibe. Awesome work! What camera are you shooting with?

Easily people's favourites too. I really liked that one.
I shoot with a Nikon D750. Shot those with an 85mm f1.8 lens.

These pictures are really nice, you where able to set your focus well. Keep it up brother, and as for the one I like most, I'll choose the last picture, the one in which she stood up with a full shot. The posture is nice
