Rebel| A day of creating in my backyard, and the photos that came with it.

I moved to my current apartment with my colleague in November,2019. The position of the flat gave us a really spacious backyard. At the time though, the whole space was filled with stones and rubbles. No idea where they came from.

We decided to clear the rubble and plant some greens, and the space could serve as a location to shoot at. Well, the greens grew up pretty fast, but the desire to shoot in it had died a natural death in our minds. Not until sometime last month though.

Nana had visited Port Harcourt(state where I reside). You remember Nana from project "Wild Ones" yea? Yea, that Nana. As soon as I heard she was in town, I hit her up for a link up that'd definitely lead to us shooting.

We had planned something elaborate with my stylist, however my stylist had some personal issues that rendered her unavoidably absent. We had to improvise and come with something, because Nana had to travel back to Uyo. And improvise we did.

I did want to shoot at the studio, and whilst thinking of where to shoot, my backyard came to mind, and I built a simple set quickly. Nana came over, and we created photos. Check them out;

Here's a little BTS of the set before Nana arrived.

I had more elaborate plans in mind to create with that set. But they were several factors that ensured that those plans won't work.

Rebel! The title of the project was inspired by Nana's character which is also the name of her clothing line. A clothing line that deals on vintage shirts. One of which she put on on this project.

I created the photos with a Nikon D750 and an 85mm prime lens.

I like your photos. Improvised are the best.
