Ritsurin Koen, Takamatsu, Japan (7 pics) - Part 2 - Scenery

I didn't know it when I arrived at this viewpoint, but it is the most photographed view of the Ritsurin Koen from Takamatsu, Japan.

I understand why; the trees, the mountain, the lake, the bridge, the singing birds, all this makes it the perfect place to think about what you are admiring.

This Takamtsu garden is the perfect place for any nature lover.

It is one of the most beautiful garden in Japan.

It is big, with a lot of variety of plants, ponds and bridges.

Even if it is very popular, one can find a quiet place easily to spent a few hours.

Considered one of the best gardens in Japan, the Ritsurin park was built during the early Edo Period.

One can see many ponds, hills, historic trees, a few pavilions, a museum and a tea house.

This shot if from the tea house that offers a nice view of the pond.

There are a lot of great gardens in Japan to spend some time and take time to enjoy life.

Everything is well organized, and nature often takes over.

This is good, especially in the megalopolis where concrete is too often predominant.

This is another tea house in Takamatsu garden.

Here are some traditional stone lanterns.

This is part of an historique garden located in the city of Takamatsu whose origin dates back to the early seventeenth century.

You can easily spent a day in the garden since it has a variety of picturesque landscapes with ponds, wooded hills, bridges and pavilions.

The Japanese know how to maintain a nice garden and how to make it grow naturally.

Surrounded by green, a little touch of red is a perfect place to reflect on life.

I like to get lost, go outside of the normal path, especially in big garden where we are not really lost anyway.

There is always something nice to see.
