Takakkaw Falls from another angle. What an amazingly beautiful water fall. One of Canada’s largest and tallest in fact. As seen from the Yoho Valley, Yoho Park, British Columbia. Located near Emerald Lake. One can actually hike from the lake to the falls, for that though, set aside the whole day.

This area would be completely covered in snow in winter right? I reckon I'd like to do the day hike although seems like there's be a lot of incline to it. Nice waterfall though.

The hike goes up the other side of the valley which is not as steep, luckily. I'll post some pics later on from Yoho lake which is on the way to Emerald lake.

Cool. I tend not to go in for the really steep stuff these days... Occasionally is ok though and if there's a cool waterfall at the top...All the better.
