Snowy Lake Part 2

Hi fellow Hiveians,

Today is the second set of lake snow pictures I’ve got lined up! These were more the scenic ones instead of the ones focused on the trees.

Let it Snow

One thing we are getting used to is the wild weather patterns we’ve had. Snow in October hit some kind of record here in Boston, insert your political agenda of choice. It does produce some really nice looking landscape when it’s all over the place though!

I liked snagging these cool scenery photos. The lake water is really far down so it’s nice to be able to just walk around to areas we don’t normally get to.

That dock over there is the one I liked to take pictures of this past summer. It’s crazy but I walked over in front of it to check it out and the area over there and the dock is just about ready to snap! I don’t think I’ll be walking on that any time soon lol

We were all surprised to see how much snow we actually ended up getting. There were a good 2.5 or 3 inches of the fluffy stuff all over the place. It was a little sad, the snow wasn’t good snowman weather unfortunately! I wanted to make a nice snowman but it was powdery. Next time!

The reflections off the water were really awesome though, this one is pretty cool! In more ways then just the temperature lol.

It was cool to see the snow piling up on the buoys that keep the boat from smacking into the dock.

I will have to ask my wife’s uncle if this house is a persons single dwelling or if this is a multi family. This thing is huge! I think it’s been a good subject of my photography hobby that I’ve been able to explore this summer.

The flags in the snowy environment were really cool. I like the way the sun is behind them in these evening photos.

Whatcha think? I’m interested in what other ways people think it would be cool to take one of these picture. I’m always open to new styles!

Sorry Riv! I was definitely meaning to respond to you but this week I got really slaughtered at work with a bunch of shit going on and we also just successfully got a refinance started on our condo so it's been a whirlwind week for sure.

I've really enjoyed the photography! It's funny, my wife is the one who wanted to get into it as a bit of a side hustle so we bought a lens for her to start to try and learn how to use it. Fast forward 5 months and she stopped using it altogether and I ended up using it LOL that's how it goes sometimes! She's got her own little business that's going nuts so that's thankfully something great to keep her busy, can't complain for sure.

The lake is really nice indeed, it has a really awesome feel to it especially because there's almost no one around, no jet ski's or other things to make the awful sounds the entire day we're there. It's nice to just listen to the ducks and other animals at times like this and snap a few cool pictures!

These are some epic snaps mate! The reflection on the lake is...well... picturesque! The snow really brings out the (still) Autumnal colours going on - lovely!

Thanks man, sorry it's been a long time since you dropped me a comment! On top of that tough work week, we refinanced our condo so I'm just now getting a bit of a break to get onto hive and do some engaging!

I think that the snow combined with the colors of the leaves was really cool too! We definitely don't see that very often so to capture that in some of these photos was pretty awesome.

Ha, no worries, 4 days in crypto is like 4 years but it's still only 4 days! A lot can happen and it sounds like you've been keeping yourself really busy! Glad you are able to have a break from it, I should take note myself but I have 3 projects I'm working on coming to an end in 7.5 weeks which will free up mental space and time, getting a bit burnt out!

Yeah the window of time to capture such moments is quite limited. Our leaves here now are pretty much all on the floor so there's no colours on the trees as they all lay bare pretty much. It's been pretty windy here!

Thank you, I appreciate you stopping by! The color of the leaves with the snow is really a cool thing to see. We usually just see the snow and all of the trees without any leaves, so it was cool to see them with color and snow!
