Holis, hoy vengo a contarles la historia del mejor concierto al que he asistido, si bien he tenido la oportunidad de asistir a conciertos de varios artistas tales como: Franco de Vita, Ricardo Arjona, Juanes, La 5ta Estación, ninguno de ellos se compara con el de los Backstreet Boys❤️!

Hello, today I come to tell you the story of the best concert I have ever attended, although I have had the opportunity to attend concerts of several artists such as: Franco de Vita, Ricardo Arjona, Juanes, La 5ta Estación, none of them compares to the Backstreet Boys ❤️!

En diciembre de 2010, me entero que Venezuela ha sido confirmado como uno de los paises incluidos en su gira mundial "This is us", en una única fecha en Caracas, la ciudad capital.

In December 2010, I found out that Venezuela has been confirmed as one of the countries included in their world tour "This is us", in a single date in Caracas, the capital city.

De inmediato hablo con mi familia haciéndoles saber mis ganas de asistir, ya que en su visita anterior al país en el tour Black and Blue no pude asistir, y es entonces cuando cambio mi regalo navideño (dos pares de botas Adidas) por una entrada al concierto.

I immediately talk to my family letting them know that I wanted to attend, since I was unable to attend on their previous visit to the country on the Black and Blue tour, and that's when I exchange my Christmas present (two pairs of Adidas boots) for a ticket to the concert.

Viajo a Los Teques, estado Miranda, una semana antes del concierto ya que me quedaría allí en casa de una tía.

I travel to Los Teques, Miranda state, a week before the concert since I would be staying at an aunt's house.

Por fin llega el gran día, Jueves 10 de Marzo de 2011, la noche anterior se hizo eterna no podía esperar a que sonara el despertador, estaba lista muy temprano puesto que siempre debíamos tomar varios transportes para llegar a la capital.

Finally the big day arrives, Thursday March 10, 2011, the night before was eternal, I could not wait for the alarm clock to ring, I was ready very early since we always had to take several transports to get to the capital.

6:30 am y ya estaba caminando las calles de Caracas, con mi mayor sonrisa e ilusión, andaba con mi tía, recuerdo desayunamos en una panadería algo costosa, pero no me importaba gastar mis ahorros, yo estaba feliz por cumplir uno de mis sueños que era ver a los Backstreet Boys.

6:30 am and I was already walking the streets of Caracas, with my biggest smile and illusion, I was walking with my aunt, I remember we had breakfast in a somewhat expensive bakery, but I did not mind spending my savings, I was happy to fulfill one of my dreams which was to see the Backstreet Boys.

El concierto fue en la terraza del CCCT (Centro Ciudad Comercial Tamanaco), llegamos y ya teníamos una fila de personas por delante, así que nos separamos, mi tía se fue a apartarme un puesto en la fila para entrar y yo me dirigí a retirar mi tan preciada entrada.

The concert was on the terrace of the CCCT (Centro Ciudad Comercial Tamanaco), we arrived and we already had a line of people in front of us, so we separated, my aunt went to give me a place in line to enter and I went to pick up my precious ticket.

Una vez que validaron mis datos, procedieron a entregarme la entrada, la cual venia en un sobre personalizado, lo abrí y por fin pude tener en mis manos la tan añorada entrada, era hermosa y tenia mi nombre impreso 😍.

Once they validated my data, they proceeded to give me the ticket, which came in a personalized envelope, I opened it and finally I could hold in my hands the so longed ticket, it was beautiful and had my name printed 😍.

Me uní a mi tía quien me esperaba en la fila para entrar y durante esa espera, conocí a otras fans de la agrupación y entre esas unas muchachas que venían también de San Cristóbal (ciudad en la cual vivo), todas contamos anécdotas sobre ser fans de ellos, quien era nuestro boy favorito, canciones favoritas, lo cual hizo la espera muy amena.

I joined my aunt who was waiting for me in line to enter and during that wait, I met other fans of the group and among those some girls who also came from San Cristobal (city where I live), we all told anecdotes about being fans of them, who was our favorite boy, favorite songs, which made the wait very enjoyable.

Al pasar el tiempo, en horas de la tarde, escuchamos que los Backstreet Boys estaban llegando para realizar la prueba de sonido, así que en grupo nos fuimos a un punto donde los podíamos ver de lejos y la adrenalina que me invadía y la emoción no era nada normal.

As time went by, in the afternoon, we heard that the Backstreet Boys were arriving to perform the sound check, so as a group we went to a point where we could see them from afar and the adrenaline that invaded me and the excitement was not normal.

Cuando fue la hora de por fin pasar, recuerdo con claridad que la seguridad era impresionante, nunca he asistido a ningún otro evento con tanta seguridad como en ese, de hecho las entradas eran pasadas por luces ultravioletas para detectarles los sellos de seguridad y poder comprobar que ninguna de ellas fuera falsa.

When it was time to finally pass, I remember clearly that the security was impressive, I have never attended any other event with as much security as in that one, in fact the tickets were passed through ultraviolet lights to detect the security seals and to check that none of them were fake.

Una vez dentro del lugar del show, la sensación era increíble, la entrada que pude comprar fue General así que no estaba cerca de ellos, pero aun así, mi felicidad no se comparaba con nada.

Once inside the place of the show, the feeling was incredible, the ticket I could buy was General so I was not close to them, but still, my happiness did not compare with anything.

A medida de que el sitio se fue llenando pude ver a lo lejos varios artistas venezolanos, los cuales también asistieron al concierto.

As the place was filling up I could see in the distance several Venezuelan artists, who also attended the concert.

Cae la noche, apagan las luces y boom, comienza a sonar la música, era un DJ, el cual comenzó con unas mezclas geniales y de repente alguien se asoma y era AJ, saluda y sale corriendo de un extremo al otro de la tarima, los gritos y la euforia de todos los presentes, fue algo increíble, al pasar unos minutos AJ vuelve a salir y esta vez comienza a bailar en la mitad de la tarima, se voltea y se baja los pantalones mientras baila, fue gracioso y mantenía la llama de la euforia encendida.

The night fell, the lights went out and boom, the music began to play, it was a DJ, who started with some great mixes and suddenly someone looked out and it was AJ, he waved and ran from one end of the stage to the other, the screams and the euphoria of everyone present, it was incredible, after a few minutes AJ came out again and this time he began to dance in the middle of the stage, he turned around and pulled down his pants while dancing, it was funny and kept the flame of euphoria burning.

Cuando es el momento de los Backstreet Boys por fin salir, todo se queda en silencio, la pantalla de fondo comienza a reproducir un video, su intro, donde ellos se encontraban en un callejón, los presentan, salen corriendo y atraviesan la pantalla para unirse a nosotros, aún recuerdo con una sonrisa en mi rostro, esa felicidad y los gritos de esa noche.

When it's time for the Backstreet Boys to finally come out, everything is silent, the background screen starts playing a video, their intro, where they were in an alley, they introduce them, they run out and cross the screen to join us, I still remember with a smile on my face, that happiness and the screams of that night.

Como siempre los Backstreet Boys se han destacado por sus coreografías y en esta oportunidad no fue la excepción, su vestuario fue super genial, recuerdo que sus zapatos brillaban de una forma muy divertida y aunque en esa gira no los acompañó Kevin, de igual manera lo recordamos con un muñeco inflable, los bsb intentaron hablar en español y fue un muy buen intento aunque un poco gracioso.

As always the Backstreet Boys have stood out for their choreography and this time was no exception, their costumes were super cool, I remember that their shoes shined in a very funny way and although on that tour they were not accompanied by Kevin, we still remember him with an inflatable doll, the bsb tried to speak in Spanish and it was a very good attempt although a little funny.

Durante la noche cantaron no solo canciones de su disco en promoción sino varios de sus éxitos y nosotros los presentes los acompañamos en todas y cada una de ellas. Su carisma fue única, mi favorito siempre ha sido Nick pero luego de esa noche, mi segundo favorito resulto ser AJ pues robó mi corazón con su carisma, entusiasmo y su interacción con los fans.

During the night they sang not only songs from their album in promotion but several of their hits and we the audience accompanied them in each and every one of them; Their charisma was unique, my favorite has always been Nick but after that night, my second favorite turned out to be AJ because he stole my heart with his charisma, enthusiasm and his interaction with the fans.

En definitiva, fue una noche inolvidable, un sueño hecho realidad, donde valió la pena cualquier esfuerzo realizado para llegar hasta ahí.

All in all, it was an unforgettable night, a dream come true, where it was worth every effort made to get there.

Las fotos antes publicadas no son las mejores, debido a que los teléfonos y cámaras en aquel entonces no eran de la mejor calidad, pero a continuación mostraré unas fotos tomadas y publicadas por el diario El Nacional, un periódico local.

The photos published before are not the best, because the telephones and cameras at that time were not of the best quality, but below I will show some photos taken and published by the newspaper El Nacional, a local newspaper.
