[Esp/Eng] Aprendiendo tu primer escala en tu guitarra o cuatro|Learning your first scale on your guitar or Cuatro

Good morning beautiful people, I hope you have a beautiful day, whether you have had a good cup of coffee, tea or mate because today I come to teach you the first musical scale that we will see in the blog. Soon I will start to upload content that will progressively increase the difficulty level for each of the instruments I teach, without further ado let's start.

Before starting to play our scale we must take into account the following point, the tuning of our instrument. This is the most important part when playing, because if we don't pay attention to our tuning we will end up sounding like scary music at 3 in the morning.

So I have also brought you some short videos where I give the tunings of these instruments.

Afinación de guitarra|Guitar tuning

untitled.gif

Nuestra cuarta cuerda G (Sol)

In the standard guitar tuning (because there are many tunings) our first note will be E (E)
The second string will be tuned in A (A)
The third string will be tuned in D (D)
Our fourth string G (G)
Our fifth string will be in B (B)
Last but not least our sixth string will be tuned in E (high E).

Note: Between each of the strings there is an interval of 5 semitones, except for the distance from G to B which is 4 semitones.

Afinación de Cuatro|Tuning Cuatro

untitled.gif

To tune the distinguished sound of the Cuatro our first string will be tuned in A (A)
The second string will be in D (D)
The third string will be at F# (F#)
And our fourth and last string will be in B (B).

Note: on Cuatro the only 5 semitone distance is from A (A) to D (D), from D (D) to F# (FA sharp) it is 4 semitones, the last string is tuned using the first one, i.e. A (A) which has a distance of two semitones to B (B).

Footnote: When I talk about semitones on the guitar or Cuatro, I'm talking about fret distances.

C (Do)
D (Re)
E (Mi)
F (Fa)
G (Sol)
A (La)
B (Si)

Having clarified this point we can start to learn the scale of today. For this case I have decided to use the classic of the classics, the old Jenkins of music, the popular C (C) scale.

This scale has no alterations, that is, it has no sharps, flats or things like that. Its order is as follows:
C (C)
D (D)
E (E)
F (F)
G (G)
A (A)
B (B)

Escala de C (Do)|C scale

E--------------------
B---------------------
G-----------2-4-5--
D------2-3-5-----
A--3-5-----------
E-----------------

B------------------
F#------------3-5-6
D------2-3-5-------
A--3-5-------------

Gracias por ver esta clase
