This week's topic of #openmic - Hive Open Mic is Starlight. I didn't think a lot, it was just decided in no time that my entry will be exactly the same-named song by Muse.
I wrote yesterday the cover for that song, printed it out and recorded it today. Although I am a classically trained pianist, I like to listen to music that bands like Muse are making. Muse is formed in 1994 and consists of Matt Bellamy, Chris Wolstenholme and Dominic Howard. Their musical style is a mixture of alternative rock, progressive rock, space rock, electronic music, progressive metal, art rock and even classical music (late romanticism) had an influence on them. In my opinion, they sound awesome, so please, if you listen to this song in original, put on your headphones and turn up the volume and enjoy all the details they offer to our hearing. My cover is something like a pianistic version, I hope you will like it.

Wow, what a great rendition of this song. Amazing really, all the intricacy of your work here. To me it is both beautiful and powerful together at once. Masterful! I think Muse would be delighted with what you've done as it shows your appreciation for their composition.

I had a challenging part, what to do in the left hand in chorus, how to bring all that beat and powerful sound...
The piano I play is not the best one, but it was my classroom yesterday so I used it to record the song...

FYI, I'm noticing an error in the video player (@threespeak), which means that your video doesn't display correctly in my curation post, unfortunately. This error is consistent in all 3Speak videos, beginning around two months ago. I wish I could figure out a workaround.
