En mi más reciente relación hubo una conexión musical increíble, que nunca había experimentado con alguien, y es esto una de las cosas que rescato como buenas de la persona. Esta canción en especial era una de las que siempre solía cantarme, también se había convertido en mis favoritas de Pablo Alborán. Desde el día en que terminamos no la he vuelto a oír, y no he vuelto escuchar algo del cantante.

In my most recent relationship there was an incredible musical connection, which I had never experienced with someone before, and this is one of the things that I value as good about the person. This song in particular was one of the songs he always used to sing to me, it had also become one of my favorites by Pablo Alborán. Para siempre – Kany Garcia

Esta canción me la dedicó una ex pareja que nunca fue del todo afectuoso conmigo. Recuerdo que estábamos en su casa y teníamos en reproducción su teléfono a través de una corneta bluetooth (que luego me regaló), él solía escuchar mucho rock en español y unos que otros raperos, por lo que cuando empezó a sonar esta canción lo miré extrañada, él había puesto la canción y me dijo: “Te la dedico”. Yo pegue un brinco de emoción internamente, escuche la letra y me perdí en la melodía. Esa relación fue muy extraña, pocas eran las veces en que nos demostrábamos afecto, así que este acto para mí fue muy especial.

This song was dedicated to me by an ex-partner who was never entirely affectionate with me. I remember we were at his house and we had his phone playing through a bluetooth horn (which he later gave me), he used to listen to a lot of Spanish rock and some rappers, so when this song started to play I looked at him strangely, he had played the song and said: "I dedicate it to you". I internally jumped with emotion, listened to the lyrics and got lost in the melody. That relationship was very strange, we rarely showed affection for each other, so this act was very special for me.

Yo tengo dos mejores amigas, una de ellas se llama Hilary, cuando estábamos en el último año del bachillerato nos distanciamos muchísimo y finalmente nos volvimos a encontrar para ir a la fiesta de graduación organizada por su salón. Cuando nos estábamos arreglando en la televisión pusieron la canción y las dos la empezamos a cantar, ella me dijo en medio de la fiesta (un poquito borracha) que yo era como su hermana y que no nos volviéramos a alejar así, que me dedicaba la canción de la televisión, porque (la cito textualmente) “nadie era como nosotras siendo diferentes”; si lo sé, no tiene mucho sentido, pero como les digo estaba ebria.

I have two best friends, one of them is named Hilary, when we were in the last year of high school we drifted apart a lot and finally we met again to go to the graduation party organized by her class. Por el momento esto ha sido todo amiguitos, espero que les haya gustado mis cortas anécdotas, la verdad todo es que tengo muy mala memoria y quizá me hayan dedico alguna otra de una mejor manera, pero no recuerdo. También la única persona que más canciones me ha dedicado es un tema delicado aún, y las canciones traen recuerdos que luego me hacen sentir triste, y no, no, no, no quiero tristezas. Sin embargo, espero haberles mostrado algo de música diferente, cuídense mucho y tomen mucha agua ¡Hasta luego!
