Hola Feliz domingo, ha llegado el día de descanso y para los venezolanos eso tiene dos significados emblemáticos que forman parte de nuestra tradición, como lo son colocar nuestra hermosa música llanera desde tempranas horas de la mañana y preparar el sabroso sancocho o sopa.
Son de las costumbres que tenemos más arraigadas y que vamos transmitiendo de generación en generación. Por eso, he leído en muchas ocasiones de compañeros de universidad que han tenido que irse al extranjero, por cualquiera que haya sido el motivo, cuando escriben que los invade la emoción al escuchar nuestra música llanera y se les llenan los ojos de lágrimas. Porque el sentimiento patrio aflora como un volcán en erupción y venezolano que se respeta lleva su música en lo profundo de su corazón.
Si hay algo influyente en nuestras vidas, es la música y cuando esta viene de nuestra tierra, tiene el poder de hacernos añorar regresar a casa. Por eso cuando la hago sonar, revivo mis momentos con amigos y familiares que ya no están, es mi manera de honrarlos y de mantenerlos vivos en mi mente y espíritu. Todo eso y más, es de lo que es capaz nuestra música llanera.
De tantas hermosas canciones, haré referencia a tres de las más clásicas, tanto que se les ha considerado segundo y tercer himnos nacionales y la de exaltación de una ciudad ¡Vaya mención!
