Thanks for this - you've introduced me to some promising artists. Interesting that there's no rap, whish is why I gave it a listen. I might do a similar list, although the choice is huge...

Very pop for dance music - guitar riff made me think of Abba's Knowing Me, Knowing You.

That burst of blues gave me the in to the music - some stunning scratching as well. The next track on the album was a bit generic.

Tame Impala
Heard of them :)
They don't get to me quite as much as Yeasayer or Cold War Kids

Agree with your summation. Great track - the bass part screams the 70's Hamlet cigar advert tune (for those of us who were watching ITV back then).

I should like this band, but I've never found an 'in'. I'll give 'em another go, 'cos I like that distant horn sound.
