Talking to the Moon es una de mis canciones favoritas en inglés, una balada pop que nos cuenta la historia de alguien que habla con un ser amado que ya no está cerca, esta persona espera una respuesta y mantiene viva su esperanza. Sin embargo quienes le rodean solo pueden pensar que desvaría, que solo ha perdido la cordura y que es un loco más que le habla a la luna. Tal vez uno de los precios que hay que pagar por creer es que te tilden de loco.

Es una canción del año 2010, año del debut de este grandioso cantautor estadounidense. Escrita por por Mars, Philip Lawrence, Ari Levine, Albert Winkler y Jeff Bhasker, aparece en el disco Doo-Wops & Hooligans junto con otros grandes temas como Just The Way You Are, otra canción que me encanta.

Talking to the Moon is one of my favorite songs in English, a pop ballad that tells the story of someone who talks to a loved one who is no longer near, this person waits for an answer and keeps his hope alive. However, those around him can only think that he is delirious, that he has lost his mind and that he is just another madman talking to the moon. Perhaps one of the prices to pay for believing is to be called crazy.
