Buenas, Hivers. La verdad, he tenido un día pesado. En días como estos, donde el clima, el ambiente y el aura en general no quieren colaborar, me quedan pocos refugios más que la música. Siendo tan aficionado a la música emotiva y tranquila, hay tantas canciones que representan lugares seguros para mí, que allí me refugié. Gracias a varias de estas canciones logré mantener mi compostura durante el día de hoy y así me ha pasado muchas otras veces. En el pasado, ya les compartí tres canciones relajantes que me llevan a un lugar seguro, esta vez quiero compartirles tres más, porque esta es la clase de aura en la que soy experto y qué más puedo hacer que compartir estas increíbles y hermosas canciones con ustedes.

On days like these, where the weather, the atmosphere and the aura in general don't want to cooperate, I have few shelters left but music. Being so fond of emotional and calm music, there are so many songs that represent safe places for me, that I took refuge there. Thanks to several of these songs I managed to keep my composure during the day today and it has happened to me many other times. In the past, I already shared with you three relaxing songs that take me to a safe place, this time I want to share with you three more, because this is the kind of aura I am an expert in and what else can I do but share these amazing and beautiful songs with you.

Hay algunos artistas cuya existencia resulta ser tan bonita y adorable que sientes que el mundo no los merece. Algo así siento al escuchar a Aurora Aksnes. Ella es una cantante, compositora y productora oriunda de Noruega. Su música se ha vuelto bastante popular desde el inicio de carrera, ya que siempre fue considerada una especie de prodigio, lo cual no es para menos. Aurora es una de las artistas pop más poderosas, influyentes e interesantes actualmente, su música siempre ha tenido una carga folclórica enorme y su gusto por experimentar con estilos diversos que van desde lo más normal de ver en el pop, hasta dimensiones musicales que ningún artista de radio se atrevería a probar. Sin embargo, una de las razones principales por las que esta artista se roba tantos corazones, es por su hermosísima voz, la cual es etérea y suave como la seda, pero también poderosa y con una proyección increíble. La música de Aurora puede ser suave y pacífica, pero de vez en cuando intenta transmitir sus mensajes mediante canciones fuertes y severas, ya que Aurora constantemente quiere dar mensajes ambientalistas y ella sabe muy bien cómo debe sonar una canción que alarme sobre estos problemas.

Aurora is one of the most powerful, influential and interesting pop artists of today, her music has always had a huge folk charge and her taste for experimenting with diverse styles ranging from the more normal pop stuff to musical dimensions that no radio artist would dare to try. However, one of the main reasons why this artist steals so many hearts is because of her beautiful voice, which is ethereal and silky smooth, but also powerful and with incredible projection. Aurora's music can be soft and peaceful, but from time to time she tries to transmit her messages through strong and severe songs, as Aurora constantly wants to give environmentalist messages and she knows very well how a song that alarms about these problems should sound.

Pero en este caso, estamos hablando de canciones relajantes y bonitas, por eso la canción que la representa en esta publicación es "It Happened Quiet", una de las canciones más lentas y hermosas de Aurora. Perteneciente al disco Infections Of a Different Kind, el cual es mi disco favorito de esta artista. En el caso de esta canción, tenemos unos hermosos arreglos de cuerdas, la canción comienza muy suave, con arpas y la voz de Aurora melodiosa y delicada. Conforme va avanzando, comienzan a entrar secciones de cuerdas, violines y cellos que le dan más y más atmósfera y fuerza a la canción. La voz de Aurora asciende y es cada vez más apasionada, mientras cuenta en su letra sobre una relación amorosa dañina y sobre cómo no haberla terminado la habría terminado destruyendo. Todo esto utilizando constantes comparaciones a la naturaleza. Una canción hermosísima, tal vez incluso épica, pero a mí me resulta muy tranquilizante.

Petrichor es una canción sobre la lluvia. Lo que se conoce en español como "Petricor" es el olor de la lluvia y la tierra mojada en estos climas. Esta canción es bastante lenta y baila entre la fina línea entre lo relajante y lo melancólico. Hay una enorme carga emocional en esta canción, su piano es lento y hermoso, pero a la vez se siente fuerte y pesado, hay sonidos que acompañan al piano y lo hacen sonar como si respirara. Mientras, en el fondo, suenan ecos difusos y sonidos de la naturaleza. Aves y niños jugando son solo algunas de las pocas cosas que se pueden discernir en la atmósfera nostálgica que hay detrás de los pianos de Petrichor. Este álbum está repleto de canciones de similar naturaleza, aunque la mayoría de ellas son directamente tristes, Petrichor vendría siendo la canción más apta de este disco que pueda tranquilizarte sin cobrarte algunas lágrimas, aunque puede que igual vaya a suceder.

Pero no puedo ignorar el efecto que esta canción tiene en mí y lo importante que esta es. Sería injusto que hablara de una canción que me relaje mucho menos que esta solo para que se ajuste menor a la publicación, así que les presento a "Underwater Dream". Este álbum/canción está producido por una de las figuras más prominentes del género del vaporwave, este personaje en cuestión es el productor "t e l e p a t h", el cual en esta ocasión lanza este disco bajo uno de sus tantos seudónimos: "Virtual Dream Plaza".

But I can't ignore the effect this song has on me and how important it is. It would be unfair for me to talk about a song that relaxes me much less than this one just to make it fit lesser to the release, so I present to you "Underwater Dream". This album/song is produced by one of the most prominent figures in the vaporwave genre, this character in question is the producer "t e l e p a t h", which on this occasion releases this album under one of his many pseudonyms: "Virtual Dream Plaza".

El vaporwave es naturalmente enigmático, en su constante fluir de sonidos nostálgicos. Este género siempre ha sido una especie de amalgama que intenta capturar la estética del posmodernismo y convertirlo en algo nostálgico, por lo que es común ver figuras comerciales y de la cultura pop en las canciones de este género. Así como también se encuentran muchos samples de canciones retro y el recurso de ralentizar canciones. Underwater Dream es una especie de bucle de una canción sumamente ralentizada y llena de samples que la dotan de una estética sonora completamente nueva. Son 31 minutos de percusión lenta, saxofones, campanas y una voz grave y pesada que nos hace derretirnos en nuestro asiento, haciéndonos sentir como flotando bajo el agua. Esta canción me gusta muchísimo para relajarme por lo larga que es, por lo que me sirve de maravilla para acostarme un rato con mis audífonos y dejarme llevar.
