Classical = too strong roots, never will go away 🀣. Anyway, that was it from jazzy mipiano haha.

Yeah, I was not sure will that swinging left hand go well, so it was just a tiny addition in one or two bars 😌

So, what color do you think it is? The bug...

You know, some real good jazz players had strong classical roots, like Nina Simone that you talked about in a recent post, or even a guy called Bobby McFerrin.

So, what color do you think it is? The bug...

Well if it's jazz, it's blue for sure πŸ˜„

Oh, Nina Simone πŸ’šπŸ’šπŸ’š (and your cover of Sinnerman 🀩 )

Bobby McFerrin, OMG I was just thinking yesterday about him and a video I saw, time ago, about the pentatonic scale
Very interesting . One of my very loved songs is Don't Worry Be Happy 😁

Blue, blue... getting back to that colour

How not! During one summer played with a jazz singer almost every night, and she talked about him and his style a lot :)
