Borusiade - Warum [PBD20]

Sometimes it seems that the highest business techno stars came out from nowhere few months ago while the true gems are hidden in the underground for decades. One of those gems is definitely Miruna Boruzescu aka Borusiade, which started her djing carrier in 2002, still as a 19 years old teenager and same time one of the very first female DJs in her hometown Bucharest, Romania. Combining her classical and Baroque music background with forward-thinking electronic in her early dj sets was a big thing on the local scene but wasn't enough for Miruna. After three years, in 2005, followed by the wings of passion and positive feedback from the community, she also started with music production. Moving to Berlin in 2008 just speed up everything and in the same year she joined her forces together with Marine Drouan, creating a short but really intensive and well acclaimed electronic music duo called Stereonucleose. The first track of this group was produced for the Open:Sounds contest and actually won a place on the Female:Pressure DVD 1 released by female:pressure label. This positive impulse can be also seen as a historical first step of the long marathon through the electronic underground scene of Berlin in both, as mind-blowing newcomer dj-group and solo carrier for more than a decade. Below you can listen to this legendary and rare tune from 2008.

Stereonucleose - On The Floor [FP2]

After years of experimenting with different projects, djing and crafting own productions, Borusiade carefully crystallized her personal, distinctive style, with thick bass lines, obsessive themes, paranoid vocals, cruel melodies and touch of acid on top of these complex constructions. Darkly-infected aesthetics of 80's synths are also considered as her trademark sounds.

Borusiade - Infatuation [CITI022]

Borusiade began releasing her spooky EBM, industrial and new darkwaves with the beginning of 2016 and immediately drag attention of the wider audience of people tired with a typical techno. Intergalactic Institution of the loony beats and sonique lunatics with the different ears called Cómeme was somehow a natural choice for releasing her first solo material full of unique approach for hypnotic sounds. Beside that Jeopardy EP was released in January 2016, world of techno didn't have to wait too long to call it one of the most interesting positions of the year and held this title till December. The same year 2016, Borusiade found a place for herself on the Correspondant label, where she appeared on VA Correspondant Compilation 04 with heavy banger Nihilist Conga and quickly after came back with her completely solo hair-raising EP called Feelings Of Entropy. Next years projects tighten co-operation with Correspondant and Cómeme as well as helped her to release very heavy, disturbing post-industrial EP on Cititrax, appear twice on the Netherlands finest Pinkman and legendary UTON, a label established by the most important techno club in the world - Berghain.

Borusiade - Forewarned Is Forearmed [UTON13]

In Miruna's discography we can find at least 4 guest appearances on VA albums or remixes, 6 EPs and 2 Long Play albums. Her debut LP from 2018 called A Body received a title Excellent in the Resident Advisor's review. In the beginning of 2020, a moment before COV-19 Global Pandemic and lockdown, she came out with second LP called Fortunate Isolation, the very dark, melancholic and unconsciously visionary soundtrack to the contemporary worldwide situation. Whole concept of this album was build around feelings of concern and fear about nowadays and future of our planet as well as the whole mankind. Constant bombardment by the large amount of wide range of negative information and news shaped the idea of Lament Album - a passionate expression of grief or sorrow. It can be taken as a huge filter of experiences and feelings on all levels, from planetary to personal. Spectrum of sounds on this album is as wide as nowadays problems and between unpleasant industrial acidic bangers like To The Self we can also find twisted meditative Mirror Hall (This Relief) or very monumental but still calm Lament (Fortunate Isolation). While it is not an album for raving, wisely hidden potential of some tracks can be revealed and properly mixed in the peak time can definitely blast every dancefloor in this part of our Galaxy. Raving Foxes Quality Assurance !

I know that you're keeping electronic music journalism on hive blockchain alive and bless you for this! I am doing my best to find some time during the day for hive but those days are a bit too short and its not always possible. That is the reason why you're on my hive.auto list. To be sure that you'll always receive my support, even if I can miss quite a lot of content.

And speaking about Borusiade, I found her through the album Various Artists Pinkman Five Years Of Tears Vol. 2 released in mid 2019 as a part of 5th anniversary celebration. She released there a very unique track which instantly dragged my attention. Track below

Borusiade - Hands Watch (PNKMN5Y2)

Thanks dude - me too, real life happenings make me not being as active in curating as i wish to - thankful for all your stuff.

We created the music-community account in the meantime to cover great music content across various genres as I do not want to be seen for supporting only Electronic music stuff, i always tried to curate all great content but time is an issue. so our new approach together with @ylich hopefully helps the entire music crowd on here.

Thanks for being back for a post - much appreciated.

He is a great guy, a real musician and more important a totally nice human. And he speaks fluent Germany, English, Spanish and more. We are a good team combining the Electronic Music World with the real musicians we hope. In all music should unite not separate people.

recently I was also listening to wide range of different rock music, including bands like The Chameleons, Depeche Mode, Sonic Youth, Velvet Underground, Rage Against The Machine, The Doors.

All of them are completely different from each other and all of them are really interesting. Probably I will also publish something about some of them soon :)
