I meant to release it on Tuesday, but video development delays occurred. So then, I meant to release it yesterday, but I slept in a ran out of time. For what it's worth, it was indeed finished on the day I said it would be. I'm trying to be better about making my self administered deadlines. :L It's tough.
I was hoping to get at least two more finished before my return to work, but hey:
10 songs in 8 weeks. Not so bad.
A better monthly output than quite a few of my heros.

This is something I've been trying to get recorded for several months. Last year, I made a lot of fantastic improvements to some of the songs in my repertoire. The issue is that I would come up with something that was improvised and my timing was a lot more sloppy than it is now. (I think it's cleaned up a little...)
It's been rather difficult to get it to sound as organic. It's tough replicating that one thing you did that one time sometimes.

This song is about a particular type of person I've encountered. Every once in a while, I'll make eye contact with someone and they appear as though they have no light within them, they seem so very vacant. And when you talk about certain topics with them, they look at you like something is wrong with you, like the understanding they have of reality; where normal and strange starts and ends, it just bothers me so very much.

This song goes out to every Imagination Invalid out there. :3 You're all fucking terrible.

I started work today. The procedures a barista is meant to follow are a little tedious...but it's nice to have a schedule again. They're shorter shifts, which is nice. I got quite lazy during this quarantine. Gotta get my work ethic back x3

I also dropped a shift in the interest of having more time to do what really matters:
Music! {among other things involving homelife..} But yes, it will make it more plausible to post more often. I am going to attempt to create a similar weekly output to that of the quarantine.

As I am saving up for a move in September or so, it will take some prioritizing. Regardless, I am excited and optimistic when it comes to the near future. My next short term goal is to have something posted by the weekend. I'll do my absolute best!

Feeling pretty good about this mix...but still looking forward to my upgrade. Might see if I can make it happen before the move..
Same time, it feels like I should do it when I am in a different environment...We shall see what the dead presidents say..
