Well thank you for checking out my first threespeak music video and intro and a special shout out and thank you to @qsounds who actually brought this to my attention just over an hour ago.

Okay so over the last 4 days I have been trying to get around what has been happening with all the changes in this space all of a sudden and I am just about getting my head around it.

All of a sudden It kinda feels like an episode of Star Wars in here a battle between the Sith and the Jedi's and not that I particularly want to get caught up in the politics of it all, one of my main reasons for checking out these platforms is because of the censorship I see more and more on Youtube. Really it's freakin sad that having your own opinion on anything that goes against the accepted or moulded norm gets shadow banned or taken down.

Any Hoo i'd rather talk and share about things that excite me and that I am really passionate about so please allow me to introduce myself.

Clive Martin is the name and some know me as "The Saxtrereneur".

My main passion is music, I'm a saxophonist musician and I play alongside DJ's in nightclubs and weddings. I do session recordings sometimes in the studio and just before Lockdown I was jamming and writing with my band which is called Danny Shaw and The Sub Spartans and we downloaded this video first on our youtube channel on 3rd February 2020.

Danny Shaw is the talented young guy on the drums in this video and I loved doing this because it reminded me of a battle off with the same dude playing the trumpet here that we had 30 years ago and I loved the way we bounced of each other here.

See I'm the guy on the left with the alto and the guy with the trumpet is an old School friend named Jamie Sufi Davis. When we both about 14 we actually both played the trumpet but we also had a fierce dramatic Michael Jackson dance off in a school disco oe time and to this day we never came to a decision who won. It was entertaining and it's crazy so many of the old school friends still remember it but it was cool and I always got on with Jamie.

Years go by and distractions of life sees friendships often disappear into distant memories and up until Danny Shaw brought us both into the studio at the start of February I had not seen Jamie for a good 22 years.

This was our first time ever recording in a studio and the first time we had linked up properly in over 24 years. Apart from the fact we are both bopping up and down like stick men because of the fish eye lense, I think you will see the energy we have between us as we freestyle of the drums and backing track.

In all honesty been in lockdown and having to cancel all my gigs and weddings is one of the reasons i'm here. The entrepreneur side of me is actually learning to trade crypto with a bit of affiliate marketing and i'm focusing a lot on that right now because just like any other musician or entertainer, I need to eat and I'm working towards having the freedom to focus more on my music skills in the future. I want to get back to singing writing arranging etc.

I was looking at dlive and yeah over the last few days testing out dtube and stuff linked to steemit and came back to this platform in the middle of a fork wondering what's going on and it's crazy what's going on but it's looking to me that hive feels so much more welcoming and for some reason my content is showing up easier here.

I am no guru and I still would like to learn how to live stream for studio purposes later or for when I have my PA system ready and I can do some Sax house nights club nights etc which I would love to do.

If anyone can point me to the communities that would probably suit me please feel free to comment any tips trick and techniques that I could implement, I am open to learning plus I know I can definatly bring quite a lot of exposure to this platform.

Are there any incentives for introducing new people here?

So far uploading to the threespeak platform seems quick and easy enough so maybe this about to be my new home.

It was nice seeing you here and hope you come back to check out my future uploads and have a dance :)
