Hello, Hivers. Within the bands, groups or ensembles have always drawn attention to instruments with high frequencies, such as violin or guitar, which generally are the most striking instruments, but in this section of my blog, I will focus mostly on great bassists famous for their career or those new talents of these new times. The electric bass usually is not a very striking instrument for many, besides the great rockstars are always the guitarists or vocalists, but although it may not seem so, the bass and the bassist play an extremely important role, where in many cases the central axis of the musical themes is carried by the bass and usually those who create the bands are the bassists or are the producers. A bassist with a short career but with a talent that made her leave a firm mark in music is "Jackie Fox", who belonged to the girl band "The Runaways". In this short period of activity in this female band, Fox managed to gain space within the musical movement of the moment, being remembered for her energy and great talent, it is known that she is a student of incredible merits, achieving her degree in Linguistics graduating with honors after leaving the band.

Dentro de las bandas, agrupaciones o ensambles siempre han llamado la atención los instrumentos con frecuencias altas, como el violín o la guitarra, que por lo general son los instrumentos más llamativos, pero en esta sección de mi blog, me centraré en su gran mayoría en grandes bajistas famosos por su trayectoria o esos nuevos talentos de estos nuevos tiempos. El bajo eléctrico por lo general no es un instrumento muy llamativo para muchos, además los grandes rockstar siempre son los guitarristas o vocalistas, pero aunque no lo parezca, el bajo y el bajista juegan un rol sumamente importante, donde en muchos casos el eje central de los temas musicales lo lleva el bajo y por lo general quienes crean las bandas son los bajistas o son los productores. Una bajista de corta trayectoria pero con un talento que la hizo dejar una firme huella en la música es “Jackie Fox”, quien perteneció a la banda de chicas “The Runaways”. En este corto periodo de actividad en esta banda femenina, Fox logró ganar espacio dentro de la movida musical del momento, siendo recordada por su energía y gran talento, se sabe que es una estudiante de méritos increíbles, logrando su Título en Lingüística graduándose con Honores luego de abandonar la banda
MUSICAL HISTORY
Fox was born in Los Angeles in 1959 and learned to play the guitar from an early age and just at 16 years old, she sought to audition as a guitarist for the band "The Runaways" but she changed instruments and managed to enter the band but as a bassist just at 16 years of age, this happens in 1975 and left the band in 1977 ending the tour in Japan after this she worked on other personal projects and with other artists. Fox was in only the first two albums of the band, being these the best materials of the band according to the critics, in 1994 they reunited to play a single concert that made them relive old times to then start an idea that would lead them to make the film but Fox did not grant the rights to use his image in it.
Fox nació en los Ángeles en 1959 y aprendió a tocar la guitarra desde temprana edad y apenas a sus 16 años, ella buscó audicionar como guitarrista para la banda “The Runaways” pero ella cambió de instrumento y logra entrar a la banda pero como bajista apenas a sus 16 años de edad, esto ocurre en 1975 y deja la banda en 1977 finalizando la gira en Japón luego de esto trabajó en otros proyectos personales y con otros artistas. Fox estuvo en solo los dos primeros discos de la banda, siendo estos los mejores materiales de la banda según la crítica, en 1994 se reunieron para tocar un único concierto que las hicieron revivir viejos tiempos para luego empezar una idea que las llevaría a realizar la película pero Fox no otorgó los derechos para que usaran su imagen en ella.

With a simple technique, fox is remembered for playing in a very simple way, achieving a minimalist bass line but very successful within the band's concepts, this allowed him to create a style that is perhaps unique although simple, but quite solid.
De técnica sencilla, fox se recuerda por tocar de una forma muy sencilla, logrando una línea de bajo minimalista pero muy acertada dentro de los conceptos de la banda, esto le permitió crear un estilo tal vez único aunque sencillo, pero bastante sólido.
