Hello, Hivers. Within the bands, groups or ensembles have always drawn attention to instruments with high frequencies, such as violin or guitar, which generally are the most striking instruments, but in this section of my blog, I will focus mostly on great bassists famous for their career or those new talents of these new times. The electric bass usually is not a very striking instrument for many, besides the great rockstars are always the guitarists or vocalists, but although it may not seem so, the bass and the bassist play an extremely important role, where in many cases the central axis of the musical themes is carried by the bass and usually those who create the bands are the bassists or are the producers. This is a bass player I didn't know, but looking for references with one of my bass player friends, I found "Eva Gardner" a progressive rock bass player, who belonged to the band "The Mars Volta" besides being part of the band "Pink" in 2009. Although I have only known this bass player for a few weeks, I have heard her in some videos and there is no doubt that she is a very good bass player.

Dentro de las bandas, agrupaciones o ensambles siempre han llamado la atención los instrumentos con frecuencias altas, como el violín o la guitarra, que por lo general son los instrumentos más llamativos, pero en esta sección de mi blog, me centraré en su gran mayoría en grandes bajistas famosos por su trayectoria o esos nuevos talentos de estos nuevos tiempos. El bajo eléctrico por lo general no es un instrumento muy llamativo para muchos, además los grandes rockstar siempre son los guitarristas o vocalistas, pero aunque no lo parezca, el bajo y el bajista juegan un rol sumamente importante, donde en muchos casos el eje central de los temas musicales lo lleva el bajo y por lo general quienes crean las bandas son los bajistas o son los productores. Esta es una bajista que no conocía, pero buscando referencias con uno de mis amigos bajistas, di con “Eva Gardner” una bajista de rock progresivo, que perteneció a la banda “The Mars Volta” además de formar parte de la banda de “Pink” en el 2009. Esta bajista a pesar de que la conozco de apenas unas semanas, la escuché en algunos videos e indiscutiblemente es una muy buena bajista.
MUSICAL HISTORY
"Eva Gardner" is a bassist born in 1979, in Los Angeles - United States, who began her first steps in music since high school. Within what I could investigate of this bassist is her trajectory in the band "The Mars Volta" with whom she participated in several of their recordings. She had her education as a musician in "Los Angeles County High School for the Arts" learning to play the electric bass and since then she has participated in several interesting projects where also stands out a band of women called "Entropy" as well as her participation in a tour with the rock star "Pink". At only 42 years old, this bass player already has a very good musical career and we will surely see her being part of many other musicians and even creating new projects.
“Eva Gardner” es una bajista nacida en 1979, en los Ángeles – Estados Unidos, que inició sus primeros pasos en la música desde la escuela secundaria. Dentro de lo que pude investigar de esta bajista es su trayectoria en la banda “The Mars Volta” con quien participó en varias de sus grabaciones. Tuvo su educación como músico en “Los Ángeles County High School for the Arts” aprendiendo a tocar el bajo eléctrico y desde entonces ha participado en varios proyectos interesantes donde destaca también una banda de mujeres llamada “Entropy” así como su participación en una gira con la estrella de rock “Pink”. Apenas con 42 años ya esta bajista tiene una muy buena trayectoria musical y seguramente la veremos formando parte de muchos otros músicos e incluso creando nuevos proyectos.
Techniques used by Eva Gardner.
On a technical level Eva has a great power and very good staging, she masters very well the progressive style while maintaining a very good speed in execution. Also as a pink bassist her live skills, with this artist denotes a complete mastery of the instrument.
En lo que a nivel técnico se refiere Eva, tiene una gran potencia y muy buena puesta en escena, domina muy bien el estilo progresivo manteniendo una muy buena velocidad en ejecución. También como bajista de pink su destreza en vivo, con esta artista denota un dominio completo del instrumento.
