My Actifit Report Card: August 22 2020

Hallo Steemians, HivePeople und Actifitter,

das Wochenende ist schon wieder da. Aber an diesem Samstag hatten wir mal keinen Urlaub und es war auch nicht so ein heisser Samstag wie die letzten.

Heute hatten wir daher seit langem mal wieder Zeit am Haus weiter zu arbeiten. Der Umbau des Gäste-WC's hat jetzt ja schon seit ca. 7 Wochen pausiert. Dafür konnte ich heute zumindest die Wandverkleidungen fertig machen und die übrigen Wände vorbehandeln.

Dazu haben sich heute Morgen noch zwei Hühner zu unseren 5 alten Hühnerdamen dazugesellt. Wir haben diese bei einem Geflügelhof in der Nachbarstadt gekauft und hoffen, dass in naher zukunft wieder mehr Eier in unserem Stall liegen. Unsere Tochter hat die zwei ausgesucht und auch direkt mit Namen versehen.

Wenn allerdings zwei neue da sind, müssen bald auch 2 Hünner gehen. Nicht so schön, für die 2 Hühner. Aber so muss es leider sein. Immerhin haben wir sie aus einer Legebatterie frei gekauft und sie hatten, bzw. Haben bei uns sicher ein schöneres Leben.

Am Mittag sind wir dann zum Wing-Tsun Unterricht unser Tochter mit dem Fahrrad gefahren um ein paar Kilometer in did Brine zu bekommen. Ausserdem haben wir noch ein paar kleine Besorgungen für das Abendessen gemacht.

Und so geht ein weiterer Tag zu Ende.

the weekend is here again. But this Saturday we didn't have a vacation and it wasn't as hot a Saturday as the last ones.

Today we have had time to continue working on the house for a long time. The renovation of the guest toilet has been paused for about 7 weeks. Today I could at least finish the wall cladding and pretreat the other walls.

In addition, two chickens joined our 5 old chicken ladies this morning. We bought these at a poultry farm in the neighboring town and hope that there will be more eggs in our stable again in the near future. Our daughter chose the two and gave them their names directly.

However, if there are two new ones, 2 chickens will soon have to leave. Not so nice for the 2 chickens. But that's how it has to be. After all, we bought them freely from a battery and they certainly had a better life with us.

At noon we rode to our daughter's Wing-Tsun lesson by bike. We also did a few small errands for dinner.

And so another day comes to an end.
