My Actifit Report Card: June 22 2021

My day didn't end up being a total waste as our trip to New Mexico wad cut short when my wife's doctor called out sick - yeah!!! I actually hot to enjoy a great afternoon walk after all 😁😁😁

My right hip and knee felt a bit tight and sore but it didn't bother me once I started my walk. I was able to move along at a really nice clip from the get-go and maintain the effort even on the two nice climbs in the 3 mile initial section.
It was nice to have a bit of cloud cover but a bunch of wildfires in the hills around us meant a smokey haze was present in most places. At least it wasn't as bad as last year when nearby forest fires created so much haze that it made my eyes water.

The temperature was a little bit better today but still in the low 90s and the air is bone-dry. Still, the flowers are still out there to keep me happy as I pass by them.

My legs felt great after the 6 miles and I finished up the day relaxing at the park with Lulu.
